Nice New Years Evening for all Yinzers in the world

Hey Yinzer, im the first one cause i living in central europe. We are + 6 hours to EST. I want to say thank you to all of you for welcome me onboard. I like to be a new member and share my thoughts with u.

Only time I ever stayed up for New Years Eve was 1999 into 2000. So damn cool watching it turn to 2000 all around the world. Memory is tough but I think it started in New Zealand. I think Paris was my favorite when the Eiffel Tower went crazy with fireworks. I remember there was one country that was on the half hour for some reason.

A local community, Harmony PA, was founded by German immigrants. They celebrate New Year’s Eve at 6 PM. I go there because I can be back home by bed time.

 

What time does Guy Lombardy come on TV.?

Yeah, that was a rough night. Y2K was tough on everyone. Every computer worldwide crashed. Airplanes fell from the sky. Electrical grids failed all over the globe.

It's funny looking back on it. The mass mayhem that never was.

Looking back that was just a walk in the park compared to todays masked hysteria.
