We had a thread a week or so back they might combine, but either way thanks for the article it is sweet ...I would like to add a bit ..If you look at the 2nd. gift you can see had the TE stopped his smash route correctly Eli would have probably been gone ...He set his Defender up perfectly and was 1 step away from going to the house ...These are the types of things his college tapes show over and over...He is the best slot WR that the Steelers have had since the man Mr. Ward...

I expect big things from Mr. Rogers this year,the slot in no doubt his neighborhood....

It is all about how well he can improve himself game after game. He should do quite well given the fact that Ben could be playing.


Should Ben play... Eli will unlock more of his potential.

 

He adds a new element to the offense making it even tougher to stop out offense.

 

Think about next year with Brown, Bryant, Rogers, and Coates. That is a deadly combo of WRs that all do different things.

 

I hope he sees enough touches in the regular season to make a difference, and I think he will.
He is exciting and could make us forget MB really fast.

 

I see him as the TE replacement who might even bust a few long ones...Mainly he will be very good at getting those 3 or 4 yards that we need ..I know he will be playing the slot ,but he will be working the TE area of the field only with more speed ...I almost feel sorry for DC'S that have to face us,almost....With AB you have to bracket him ,the speed of DHB you have to play off or shade his side deep,you have to respect the running game ,now add in Rogers tearing up the middle of the field...Our multiple WR sets are very dangerous and very hard to defend....
