NHL Playoffs

Sure hope Oilers light it up tonight. Panthers seem on a mission after missing it last season.

 

Great game for 2 periods then Panthers went on their mission. Florida up 2-0 and I have little hope of a game 7.

 

Seems that way but I think EDM was down 2-0 in a previous series. Will be interesting to see if they get any traction at home. I wonder about Barkov and Draisaitl as far as availability.

 

Good luck Edmonton tonight. Oilers lose I'll be done watching. No way they come back against Panthers down 3-0.

 

Bob was up to the challenge. Too many mistakes by EDM.

 

Oh well. I gave up at 4-1 but I awoke to see the Oilers tried to get back into it.

Early congrats to the Florida Panthers. Hope it goes 5 so they can win it in Florida.

 

Nice of Florida not to show up. Oilers fans get a little joy and watch their team win huge, 8-1.

I'm guessing this ends in Miami Tuesday night.

I went to bed when he made it 3-0. I see it came down to the wire. Happy to see they hung on. I'm so hoping for a game 7 which I gave up on after game 3.

 

You got to be frigging kidding me.

We got us a game 7 for the Cup!!!!

 

It would be one of the worst losses in sports history that a team can have if the Panthers don't win game 7!

It would be a collapse similar to the Falcons' 28-3!

All the pressure is on the panthers and all the confidence is on the oilers and they have an opportunity to make history!

 

Come on ladies it's a game 7 for the Championship. Very rare indeed for how we got to a game 7. Only 5 teams in NHL history have done it in the Playoffs. Sadly our own Pittsburgh Penguins were on the wrong side of one of the five Man I remember being super PO'd for a week after. Only one of the five was the Stanley Cup final. The Toronto Maple Leafs.

I just hope it stays real close. Should Fla. lose it will be two Cup Finals in a row which I imagine is tough on the die hard fans. I know it would kick my butt hard. I don't follow other NHL teams closely but remember McDavid in his 2nd year in a game against the Pens and I thought this kid is going to bring Edmonton what Crosby brought the Burgh. So far he has not got one so I'll be pulling for the Oilers.

Although, here is a dumb reason not to root for them. Oilers have 5 Cups, that is tied for most Championships won since the NHL-WHA merger. Tied with: Pittsburgh Penguins!!

Now excuse me I have to take a nap
