NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

I didn't see any mentions on the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
The key thing I like in this game is the fact that coaching is very moderate for a group of guys basically thrown together to play a game.

I didn't see any superstars.

But I did take notice of Dai'Jean Dixon and Jequez Ezzard.

I kind of look at this game as maybe a day 2 -> 7 scouting. Those players that don't make the Big Board and don't really stand out but are gamers. I like it when those later round picks turn out well.
Dixxon is that big 6'4" WR, though not particularly speedy. He did make some catches to show off good hands. He had like 130+ yards.

Ezzard has that speed and can-do Special Teams.

The QB's were not anything special. I still like Pickette and Howell.

That's ok.
I agree not a 'super star' bunch.
But they tell me, leave no stone unturned.
Neither of the two will challenge "Drake London" as a WR (6'5" 210lbs USC) that guy was pretty much unstoppable.
But you can't always have the #1 guy.
Note: I always liked the way Pittsburgh finds those guys - Antonio Brown was an amazing WR until he went nuts.

I'm not really thinking "General Talk" as I am more directing to this team. They do need a WR.
And they do need a good draft haul.
But feel free to move it there mods. My bad.

These type of threads about the draft are supposed to go in the Bill Nunn draft forum, so they don't fill up the front page.

 

No problem. I hadn't looked there as I don't want to get into one of those general things and have to listen to a whole lot of smack from other team fans who can't pour piss out of a boot let alone hold a good conversation. (Answers the question why I didn't see anything - and I do see a smack talk place for that sort of rot.)
I tend to be team specific.
So, I'll adjust. Chalk it up to a learning curve.
