So any reason to pay for the year? What am I missing? For the premium it's 10 a month or 80 for the year. And Steelers first game is 8/13 (pre-season) and last game is 1/8. That means I only need 5 months. Seems like a great deal and usually the yearly deals are better than monthly.

Yeah I guess I can watch the rest of the year, but I can hardly be bothered to even post here during the offseason. So not sure how how much I would even use the app during the offseason.

Yep living in LA and now with two damn teams, I hardly get the Steelers. I so hated when the Rams came back and then the Chargers adding insult to injury.

Yeah it's a strange site that has no "Help" link on the site anywhere - you have to go to a completely separate un-linked site call "NFL+ Support" to resolve issues or ask questions. After talking directly to my financial institution and having them lift restricted use that NFL+ caused my account due to a suspected "Fraud" charge (happened with two different credit cards from different providers) - the $79.99 charge was finally accepted and I immediately got confirmation from NFL+ that I am signed up for another year. Something tells me they have outdated encryption settings or something that triggers "Fraud Alerts" every time. Oh well I'm set until August 2023.

Someone else asked why you'd go with the annual and not the monthly subscription since the season is way less than 12 months - one reason would to be able to access (commercial free) replays either from the past year or numerous prior seasons (10??) instantly. E.G. - just randomly picked week 10 (I think) from 2015 and it was Dallas at Pgh - #26 was still the RB then and he was a monster - forgot how he could dominate a game both running and pass catching. Didn't watch the whole game but it was fun just to pull random games from the archives without haven't to find that old DVD or VHS packed away in a box somewhere. More recently of course I saved games to the DVR but it seemed that DTV kept upgrading the box every few years which meant losing all those recorded Steeler games from Sunday Ticket or network. That to me is worth paying the annual fee, now $20 less than prior seasons. :thumbs up:

Good use case. Gonna have to think about that. The difference is not much so I realize I'm being way too nitpicky for a few bucks but mostly just wanted to get something like exactly what you said. Really good use case. I can almost maybe see myself just randomly doing that.

Thanks. He passed two weeks ago today, at the age of 15. I’d say he was the best dog I’ve ever had, but…every dog has been.

Sorry for you Clive. Something about that unconditional love that is so endearing. Had to put one of my cats down last year - 18 years old. It was tough.

The last dog I took in may live longer than I do and this concerned me

I made arrangements with my niece to take her if need be before I took her in

It is a subscription service offered on the NFL app. It is geared towards mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets/iPad. There was some talk about being able to cast from your mobile device to your smart TV or streaming device like Roku, FireStick, AppleTV or Chrome cast although those might be the premium service and I have no idea of the quality and lag.

Not regular season out of area local games. I already checked. You might be able 2 watch the replay, but not live.

The week 3 game is Thursday night and is listed as being on Amazon

Will you need an Amazon account and smart tv to watch

I’ll be in the middle of New Mexico and the people I’m visiting I doubt have either Amazon or a smart tv

I don’t even know if they have a TV

I may be able to find a sports bar will they likely show this

I might be listening to this on the radio but I’m having doubts about wifi or cell access

Pretty sure you will need an Amazon Prime account and some sort of smart device be it a phone, tablet/iPad or TV. I tried watching one on my kindle fire last year and it wasn't the best experience in the world but better than some of the feeds you find online for games.
