    1. Aaron Rodgers

    It says a lot that Rodgers stands apart, even in this boffo era of quarterbacks. This was supposed to be the year when everything came together on the Packers' squad. The offensive line, running game and receiver group are better than any time in the Mike McCarthy era. Jordy Nelson's ACL tear puts a damper on things, but it doesn't change Rodgers' status as the alpha dog at the ultimate alpha dog position.

    That's pretty amazing to see a journalist from NFL.com place Ben #2. I agree that Rodgers is in a class of his own. Flacco... well, he does have a very recent Lombardi trophy, and played exceptional during that Super Bowl run, so he's earned a high split. I'm also not sure that I would rate him over Eli, but it's close IMO.

    Its taken a while but Ben is finally get the recognition he deserves. They were talking about him on Mike and Mike this morning.

    Agree about Rodgers, have always said he is the best in the league.

    Sometimes I think that we are the same person...lol. I also was listening (at work) to Mike and Mike. I almost posted that our chances of going to the Super Bowl just got shot all to hell because Greeny picked us to go. His picks are ALWAYS the kiss of death!

    Someone finally gets it (talking about Ben) the rest of the rankings are debatable though not important.
