I may have missed some names as I did this between 1230 and 2am at work.... But the one thing I noticed that many franchise QB's like Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, and others were 2nd and 3rd Rd guys. But this list is simply a bunch of busts and journeyman with a very few select franchise guys in between.

Really, because I notice that there are 4 teams left playing in the AFC playoffs, and all of those teams have 1st round draft picks playing QB for them.

Actually, every team that made the playoffs from the AFC had a 1st round starting QB on the roster when the season started.

While it's not Uber impressive, what I have noticed from the list is that if you aren't pickings in the top 15, the success rate is extremely low. Outside of Rogers and Lamar it seems drafting a late 1st Rd QB is a bad deal.

Let's hope Kenny joins the exception.

Look at the 3 Musketeers that Denver drafted on this list. Tommy Maddox, Tim Tebow and Paxton Lynch.

Go Big or Go home. As Ricky Bobby says you are either first or your last. Draft a QB in the top of the draft or don't draft one at all.

I still think Chicago should draft Bryce Young with the 1st pick of the draft. Then trade Justin Fields for some O-Line help or draft picks. Last year all we heard about was how the 2023 draft was going to be loaded with Franchise QBs. Chicago has the chance to add one of these franchise QBs to their roster this year, how often are you sitting at the top of the mountain and get your pick of anyone you want? I don't understand how you can hang your hat on a QB that put up a 31.4 QBR his rookie year and then followed it up with a 54.1 QBR his second year. Also keep in mind that the guys that drafted Justin Fields are gone: Both the GM and Head Coach were fired on Monday after the season.
