Somewhere between 8-11 is probably fair at this point. Steelers are rusty but I think they have more room for improvement than many others. If Ben gets comfortable and they shore up that secondary they could be very hard to beat later in the year.

4 is ridiculous. The analyst that put them there in the article above didn’t watch the Steelers game last Sunday because I heard him on an NFL podcast yesterday saying as much.

I'd say Pittsburgh is a top-10 team but a spot at 11 or 12 is justified. Top-4 is a bit silly but I'll take it, I suppose.

No way rn you can put them over the chiefs, ravens, seahawks, bills, or packers.

Bills almost lost to the fitzpatrick led dolphins. They are better or at least on par with the bills. Chiefs ravens are top tier with Seahawks packers right below. Steelers are about on par with the good teams: bills Titans Rams

Polls are meaningless. Most of them don't even align with each other even remotely. As far as I am concerned, we're 0-0 looking for our first win each week. Win the next game is all that matters and forget all the articles by pencil necks who look at stats and write about or rank teams.

So you are suggesting we shouldn’t have been looking forward to the Patriots when we had to play Jacksonville first?

Interesting perspective. I could almost get behind that 0-0 every week. Almost. But I still like to categorize wins and losses into "should have won" and "should have lost." It gives me one aspect of my twisted "here's where we are right now" opinion of the team and drives how happy I am with their progress through the season.

I'm of the mindset that you win the games you are supposed to win and split the rest. If you do that, you're going to be in a good position at the end of the regular season.

Somewhere between 1 and 32. Frankly, couldn’t care less what the people who come up with these things think.

    Standings are all that matter.

Winning in February cements who #1 is. 2nd sucks.

Polls like these are fun, but pointless especially this early in the season. I like what we have, and what we have is a legit shot at being a playoff contender. These polls may start to make a little more sense after the next couple of weeks. It takes a quarter of a season before you can really get a feel for who's got what.

Division game for the bills. I judge divisional games different than any other games. They made the playoffs alst yr and got a better team this year. For now I'd put them over pitt. Look at how the chargers nearly beat the chiefs. Rams not sold on yet. Titans got to give credit they did go to the afc championship last yr and look even better.

True, and while these rankings mean nothing, putting the Titans, Rams, Bills, and Patriots above the Steelers is a bit goofy.

I like our 3-0 but I’m still not hyping us as #4.

Really know they are meaningless but find it fun to check each week. Looking forward to see where we be after week 3. We will have a better record then either the Ravens or Chiefs. So, do they put us ahead of the loser Monday night????

AFC Top 5 for moment: Chiefs, Ravens, Steelers, Bills and Titans Honorable mention to Pats and Browns.

How many 3-0 teams left? Once we lose the talking heads will have a new #4.
