I've never seen so many candidates in the running for HC. I think I remember only 2-4 in the past, though I could be wrong. They used to choose their HC quickly. The owners and GMs have their homework to do so those announcements might not come out until up to the draft. If this is accurate, the Colts have 13 candidates for interviews.

Even with Mike Tomlins faults if the Steelers were to let him go he would be at the top of all those lists.

I agree. If Sean Payton it's at the top of people's list You dang sure know MT would be. No matter what We, or anyone thinks about Him.

Its reported that MT makes 7 million a year. There has been talk of SP getting 25 million a year. Now the Waltons can afford it no doubt, and it may be just talk, but that really will reset a HC market. Cheap owners going to have to open up the wallets soon lol

Sean Payton lives in Manhattan Beach, close to the LA Stadium. I'm thinking Spanos fired only the OC and QB coach because he didn't want the uproar of the new LA fans to pay SP.

You are likely correct. I went with the first google result, as I now look its more like a gossip site. Another site has him at 11.5 million, I quit, none of my business anyway. lol

No doubt. Over half the head coaches in the SEC make more than that.

Love to see the net take home for Mr. Tomlin. I'm thinking they get paid once a month. Take out all the taxes and such and that is still a hefty take home pay.

I agree. With the exception of Flores and Peyton, none of these guys really stand out to me. Doesn't mean that a couple of these guys can't transcend to the top of the coaching ranks in the future, it's just that they are mostly retreads and guys that are always interviewed but never chosen.

4th highest at 12.5 million according to this. Behind only Belichick, Carrol and McVeigh. Belichick clocks in at 1st with 20 million.
