The Ravens lost a bunch of starters on defense, and have no receivers and a erratic QB.

Other way around. Pouncey said when Ben goes he goes.

While all of guys are busy wetting your beds over all the shiny new toys the Browns have a few things to remember.

    1. Loads of statistical data that shows buying a team load of talent doesn't translate to Championship success.

    2. First time head coach that unless he is Lombardi or Walsh reborn it will be one heck of a job to mold these huge egos into a cohesive team.

    3. It's Cleveland which means at the first sign of adversity Dorsey will dump his HC and or staff and they are back to square one.

    4. I can't think of any team in the NFL that has gone to a SB with a 2nd yr QB except one and he wore Black and Gold not ****akke brown.

My mistake, it was Pouncey's idle threat. It's getting hard to keep track of who said what.

    Wish granted!

Well, as long as you define "proven" as somewhere around 30th best at your position

Still, probably better than what we'd draft like you said

I think the biggest mistake they made that can sink their season was not keeping Williams as HC. Have no idea why they did that. Kitchens was doing great as OC.

Well, 30th out of around 125. I read 28th, but whatever.

I’m not blown away by the signing, but Nelson did just have his best season, as a pro, with 4 picks, so let’s hope he’s on the upswing.

Burnt time after time on 3rd down by Edelman you say?

Sounds like he'll fit right in!

    3. They held onto Huey way longer than they should. Hardly first sign of adversity.

    4. What kind of brown?

Two of his 3 yrs was under a different GM. Dorsey's first year he booted Haley and Hue pretty quick and that was with some close games that could have swung there way.

Think of a four letter word that seems to be a universal color in Cleveland.

Yeah idk it's still hard to believe they let Brown have his way with them. If there's any truth to the NE trade I will at least give them credit for not doing that. But they should have set terms to AB. If we don't get at least x in return you go nowhere so we suggest you keep your mouth shut. There's being nice and then there's just being stupid.

........And you have your opinion and I have mine.......and almost all time time we don't agree! I have no hate for our all time sack leader, AB however he can bite it.

The Giant trade Beckham to the Browns for first- and third-round picks and safety Jabrill Peppers. Once again the Art Looney led Steelers look bad. A rookie GM fleeces the Steelers and the Giant get a boatload. Get rid of the father and insert the son. Art Looney manages this team as badly as his grandfather manage the Steelers initial. When the son, Dan, took over the Steelers became winners. Let's try another Dan.

There are several huge differences in the situations.

    1. OBJ didn't walk out on his team.
    2. OBJ wasn't asking for a trade.
    3. OBJ wasn't asking for a new contract, even though as of last off season the Gaints made him the highest paid WR in the NFL
4 OBJ wasn't going on social media and acting like a crazy person trying to drive down his trade value.
    5. OBJ didn't have a blonde mustache (but does have a blonde dye job to his hair however)
    6. OBJ is 26, AB is 30.

Throw all this into consideration and this is why the Steelers ended up with what the ended up with, and the Gaints got what they got.

Also we got so much heat on here for the dead money on the cap. The giants are suffering a similar fate (16mil this year and 5mil next year) and mainly cos they renegotiated his contract in August!

Our hand was forced theyve made their mind up on their own

I so agree this happens a lot. I remember when the Dolphins fired on of their HC's and Bates took over and did well like Williams did for the Clowns and they didn't give Bates the job and the Dolphins have stunk since. I hope this is the same for the Clowns.

This is not true the Steelers have never been players in FA and one could say over the last few years they are spending more. I mean they did spen on Mitchell and Burnett and now Nelson. The Steelers have ALWAYS been bargain hunters not players and that has shown in their success. You don't have to spend a lot but you have to spend wise......now that may be another topic.
