Somewhere the real Heinz Mustard is sitting duct taped to a chair while this cheery imposter tries to demolish his legacy of doomsaying.

No his problem is the same problem He has had everywhere He's went. He can catch, but doesn't adjust very good, and likes 2 fall down.

Compensation update: Titans are trading a 2023 sixth-round pick to the Rams for Robert Woods, per source.

    That looks a steal.

Woods always comes across as a team first, knuckle down sort of player. Would of been happy if we had got him, unless his injury has complications

230 million guaranteed? So if nearly all of that is over 4 years it's around 57 million against the Cap..that's nutsm

I keep hearing a lot of complaining from a couple of Browns fans I know. They think their team got fleeced, and they are very uncomfortable with them bringing in Watson due to the accusations made against him. One of them responded to the trade by announcing that he was done with the Browns. I'm not sure if all of that really means anything, but I found it interesting.

I hate to get Watson. Cap is one thing. Draft picks is another thing. But nothing says there's not going to be civil suits. She that the NFL won't be doing anything.

So, JuJu's deal comes in at actually $3.25 million for 1 season plus incentives.

I guess he needed to leave town, so not to eat crow about wanting a big contract.

Someone else posted and explained this contract. Unless JuJu gets hurt very early in the season, he will surely get the full $10.75m. He just need to exceed last year’s stats and those were very low due to his injury. This is just one way to spread the cap hit over two years. I’m not sure why we didn’t think of it.

I read that 2 million is for the AFC Championship game? And something about how only 2.4 million is actually guaranteed.

It sure sounds like the Steelers just didn't want JuJu back lol I totally get it. I love JuJu but he has not been much the last few seasons.

In other news, the AFC North has gotten significantly better this offseason, Steelers included, but we need to do more. Honey Badger, Edmunds, Landry?

My uncle is a 60+ year Browns fan, and he is 100% convinced that this will blow up in their faces. He’s not a happy camper.

Maybe the Steelers thought of it, but just didn’t want to invest even that much in keeping him. We should know by now that Colbert and Khan don’t often miss a trick.

After reading the Browns message board about the trade for Watson it is about 50/50 being for the trade. One guy said that it has been his dream for his entire life for the Browns to win the Superbowl but now if they win it with Watson the victory will feel "dirty" and "tainted" and he won't be able to enjoy it.

It doesn’t sound like the Steelers tried. Remember there is a reason for everything. For as fun loving as juju seems to be he might be a complete pita in the locker room. There’s a video in the trubisky thread with cowherd and wannstadt. Wannstadt talks about this very topic. There is a reason teams let their players reach free agency.

Surprised at that contract he got from KC, very few guarantees. It’s definitely looking like the Steelers decided to move on from Juju. They could have easily matched or bettered what he got in KC with better guarantees and I am sure they could have talked him in to staying.

Best of luck to him in any case. It was tough sledding for him in a bad offence the past few years and it has almost certainly effected his market but he hasn’t complained. I hope he does well with his new team

It means he's not coming back to the Steelers, I doubt he will retire.

It does matter the position, they aren't going to draft an RB or TE at 20.

Or they didn't want to pay him after he only averaged about 9 YPC the last two seasons.
