Newsflash:. Steelers are no longer doomed.

I'm very impressed with this free agency spending and acquisitions. Steelers can go WR in rounds 1 or 2, and I wouldn't throw a fit. Strong Safety seems to be only sore spot.

Cornerback is still a problem, too. They have a bunch of guys who would be fine as a No. 2 or slot corner, but I don't see a No. 1 in that bunch.

There will be good receivers available in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

With the Steelers consistent pass rush they can probably get by with a bunch of #2 type of CBs, they do need to find a stud CB in the draft though.

You don't really need a #1 when you play a lot of zone, as the Steelers do, as most NFL teams do.

We're still missing a Safety. Wonder what's going on there.

So in the 3 - 4 you have a nose tackle and two defensive ends correct? Two outside linebackers? or two rush guys?

I would bet that they are in touch with a couple of guys like Edmunds and Matthieu, seeing what their market is and whether a deal in Pittsburgh would suit them. I’d be surprised if they don’t sign a starting caliber safety over the next week or so.

We'll sign a SS. Probably Edmunds. At that point, I'd be content with the secondary.

They can take any of Edge, DT, WR, or CB in round 1. Maybe all of those in Rounds 1-4. OL and RB depth after.

Funny, two weeks ago the idea of going Edge or WR in round 1 was crazy. Fun FA time.

He played like a hall of famer that playoff run. Wouldn't call it luck but be performed well beyond his measures. If you're banking on that happening that's a terrible way of thinking.

He was ahead of AB. He was behind Wallace and Hines. But his problem really was he and Ben didn't click.

Peyton didn't in the sb but no way they beat NE without him in the afc championship. He threw 2 tds and managed the game well. He would get them out of a bad play into a great one. His impact stretched far more than his stats.

Looks like Ray Ray signed with San Fran for 10 mil? Nice upgrade in change if it's TRUE. James Washington to Dallas...not sure if they plan to make him a slot receiver

He'll fit in there. 2 stupide penalties for every 1 catch he makes.

Agree, Ben had favorites that made no since like Switzer. And WRs that were in his dog house like Washington.

Be curious to see what Washington does in Dallas this year.
