I missed the Wallace pickup. Like it. That body slam is awesome.

The entire offense is under 27 at this point. The OL is very young 1-7 (starters plus Green and Leglue). We have 2nd-4th year players in Harris, Frier, DJ, Chase. Trubisky at 27 is the oldest of the main group, Mason and Haskins are younger. If Ray2, Washington, and/or Juju come back they're all 25. Any picks we add will be kids (obviously). Snell and McFarland are 24. Crazy. The old guy is Watt at 29.

I was going to float OJB but this draft is really good at the WR position.

I just wanted to make STD vomit with the thought of it.

I honestly don't want him back. We all like him but I'd move CC inside and draft a burner. That said, if the cost keeps falling (if that's even true) I'd take him on the cheap for sure.

JuJu's best year IMHO was his rookie year when he had two 90-yard catches.

He Was the #3 receiver at that point. He wasn't getting the attention of the top DB's on the team.

With our 4th round comp pick we could grab Danny Gray from SMU or Tyquan Thornton and his 4.26 speed from Baylor.

He had 97-yard touchdowns each of his first two seasons, but his second year was by far his best. He caught 111 passes for 1,426 yards. He was a playmaker. He was explosive and he made those combat catches Tomlin likes to talk about. He hasn't come close since. I'd still take him back on a cheap deal. That would give the team a solid trio at receiver, with more help likely to come in the draft.

I mean, that's a legit account. Holy Hell would that be awesome!

Still money left and, if they ever dump Banner and Shobert, they can do this and still extend one of DJ or Minkah.

You and Blast Furnace are going to be disappointed when Steelers pick a NT, ILB CB or DE in round 1. Got the popcorn ready... no pun intended.

Do you really think after investing $10M in Trubisky and with Rudolph clocking in at $4M on the cap and Haskins at $2.5M, Steelers would pick Willis or Pickett? Logic eludes you.

That is a fair point. And tendering Haskins makes this more of a fact.

But Steelers could be looking to trade Rudolph for a 5th pick. Or they could be ok picking up ridder or MW, and then just flat out cutting Haskins. Because it's only 2.5 million. It's not something that would kill us.

I would. I still don’t believe we have gotten a true account of who JuJu is since AB left. First year without him, Ben is lost for the year, then JuJu was battling injuries and the decline of Ben in the second year and then last year Ben was a shell of himself. No doubt that AB elevated Jujus game but I want to see him with a better QB and a better game plan that barely throws 3 yards past the line of scrimmage.

    :beg:

Might want to read through the thread, I’ve been saying since they signed Trubisky that they probably won’t take any QB now.

For the record. I would convert TJ 20 million into signing bonus. Pick up Myles Jack and the honey badger.

And then go into the draft taking BPA.

    Why would I be disappointed?!

You clearly have not read any of my choices and never mind my articles. A QB would not be my choice; CB or Jordan Davis would be (more specifically Andrew Booth Jr.).

Jordan Davis has been my guy all along but there's no way he's there at 20.

Agreed. Any chance of him falling ended with his showing at the combine. A nose tackle may never need to run a 40-yard dash in a game, but it showed what a great athlete Davis is.

Seems like there is some excitement about things opening up without Ben. I saw a similar sentiment by Rudolph.

This has to be a first for the Steelers they signed eight players on the first two days of free agency, usually they have very little cap space, we're used to them shopping for bargain basement players not this.

I have watched Chuks get beat out every year starting in his rookie year. The only way he has ever cracked the starting lineup is because someone else had an injury

Until Banner is off the roster Chuks should be considered the backup RT.

If Leglue puts on 10 more pounds and come in over 320lb you can bet that Chuks will be back on the bench before the end of the season.

Truth be told, it will probably be another 3rd or 4th round draft pick that causes Chuks to lose his starting job once again in 2022.

Jordan Hicks signed for 2 years for 10 million with Minnesota, Pittsburgh could've afforded that.

I think the Steelers are going all in for using the 1st round to get an ILB.

Would they take another "Devin" Lloyd or the mirror image of Bush in the now 1 inch shorter 5'11 Nakobe Dean? One of these ILBs will be sitting there at the #20 spot.
