Next Year?

What are we going to look like next year? No AB or LB. I know Conner did really well in place of Bell but let’s hope he can replicate that next year. Juju is a stud but how is he going to handle the number DB? Ben should play well not having to make sure AB gets his 10 targets!

The D looks basically the same. We’ll see after the draft what we add. Imo we our SB window closed. Not unless we have a miraculous season next year but wildcard maybe divisional round is a far as I see us going. One good thing hopefully most of the drama will be gone and we can focus on football!

I wouldn’t mind trying to get Martavis Bryant back. I don’t know what his contractual situation is but he seen what it’s like playing for a lousy team with a lousy quarterback now maybe he’ll be grateful. He’d be cheap for sure because he barely played in Oakland. He’s got a lot of talent and he’s shown it in Pittsburgh. We need to good outside threat besides just Juju. Washington might be good and Switzer is okay. So what do you think we will look like next year and how far will we go with all we’ve lost?

 

I think we will be ok honestly, I’m pretty optimistic actually.

Martavis Bryant is suspended indefinitely by the league. He wont play a down next season.

 

Well, that makes up for the receptions Bell made last season. Now we just have to make up for AB.

If we went 14-2, won the SB and Ben was MVP, we would still have these threads. It would just be easier to have counter arguments.

 

You don't think that losing Bell, Brown and Shazier is a talent drain, or am I misunderstanding?

I'm not worried about our offense as long as Conner stays healthy.

In that regard, I hope we go after another RB early in the draft. We need a Kamara-Ingram 1-2 punch, or be 3 deep at RB like the Pats.

Its a wait and see as far as i'm concerned.
How much upgrading on the defensive side will happen? The problem is the defensive staff is still in tact sans Porter.
Will Art II put Tomlin on notice without a contract extension?
Will the offense be more balanced?
A lot of question marks at this point.
