At home against both Vegas and Cincy. No reason at all not to be 3-0 going into Lambeau on October 3rd. Thoughts???

We have seen this team lose to the lesser Raiders in the past, one game at a time, also they lost to the Bengals and their 3rd string QB last season .

I said it when they drafted Joe Burrow, the Bengals have a franchise QB. He had a good day in a win today. I say fear the Bengals.

As for the Raiders I'm so damn happy it's in the Burgh. Had some heart breakers on the west coast.

Neither of the next two games are going to be gimmes. The Raiders are a solid team, and the Bengals just beat a solid Viking team. Tomlin needs to be very careful not to let this team get too full of itself.

The Bengals offensive line is going to have their hands full with our defense.

Better be, or today's win means nothing.

Great break catching Vegas after a Monday Nighter in an early Sunday game.

Zero excuse not to roll that team next week.

And apparently Rodgers is still on vacation in Hawaii or still making State Farm commercials

    They May be 4-0

yeah, that Packers game is not looking nearly as tough right now. But, no never look ahead, and let today be a lesson. I"m sure 99% of the people who picked the Steelers season in advance had today as a loss. There is a reason why they actually play the games.

3-0 would be better. This Steelers team needs to win as many games as possible with as good as this division is and the AFC is in general. They have 4 of their next 5 at home and 6 of their next 8 overall at home. If this defense plays like it did today against the Bills neither the Raiders or Bengals are beating the Steelers at Heinz Field the next 2 weeks.

I don’t think they will be gimmies but they are most definitely games the Steelers should win and had better win. They get the Raiders who play Monday night on a short week at home having to travel from the West Coast to play a 1 o clock game, and they get a Bengals team who while they are improved and Burrow can give them some problems I still don’t think are ready to handle the Steelers defense. I can’t see the Bengals winning here at Heinz Field. I think it would be extremely disappointing if the Steelers drop either one of these next 2 at home. They need too and should win them both.

The Steelers play the NFC North this season, all of those teams look like crap so far.

The more the Bengals throw the more it plays into our hands, so long as we do not have linebackers doing heavy lifting in coverage. The Bills just learned that first hand.

Raiders defense is suspect at best. Gruden has publicly stated he wants to take the NFL back to 1998 so that means dedication to the run.

Get an early lead and pressure them to throw often.

As a player or coach it's always about the next game, just bad karma. Remember Tomlin looking ahead to the Patriots game one or two games in between. Well they lost the game before the Patriots game. As player or coach put all your focus and energy on your next game. Fans can think about it but that should be it and not about gimmies or winning it. Nothing is a gimmie in the NFL. Just my take on it.

    Yeah I never understood that.
"Hey Mike, you just got stomped by a Raiders team that you were favored against. What happened?"

"Well, our fans on the Steelers message boards were talking about how we matched up against the Packers and it caused us to lose our focus. Obviously it is what it is but they need to embrace the challenge and refocus their discussions on the Bengals this week."
