So we sit on the ball going into halftime. Then start of 3rd Ben makes a risky throw, int, and short field. Then going for it on 4th multiple times up one possession in 2nd half.


What's the gameplan here???


If you are content with going for it on 4th in 3rd/4th quarter. Why not try to score in the 2nd and sit on the ball???


Another horrible challenge. I heard hes 1-7 in last 8....


Talents there. The stupidity we witnessed in this game comes down to horrible coaching.

They won. If we can get a lousy game out of our system with a win I'll take it.

 

The challenge was indeed bad. I'm glad the lack of a timeout didn't come back to haunt us. He also missed out on challenging the Driskel fumble early in the game.

 

I don't think you watched the game. Players made mistakes. In some cases they were aided by questionable calls by the refs. Denver came back and fought hard. Have to give them some credit.

 

2-0 going into the Houston game is where we need to be. I'll take it.

We won and some people aren't quite aware enough to see that we damn near threw it away to a bad team.

Some people thinks it's not cheating as long as you don't get caught.

Some people think it's not an over-dose if your survive.

I want to know who in the booth is responsible for reviewing these plays and informing Tomlin to challenge them? Needless to say that person on the coaching staff needs FIRED!

 

This team was up 17-3 in 2nd with ball and we are biting our fingers in the 4th... Just stop. Refs, Denver, and Steelers players had nothing to do with it.

Exactly why he's still here. Half decent team beats the Steelers today... but 2-0. We don't live in our fears. Standard is still the standard. Obviously.

 

Offense and Defense collapsed in the 2nd half. We were lucky to win the game.

We watched different games then... Steelers had all the momentum up 17-3 and sat on the ball going into halftime.

Never allowed to blow a team out. I'm sorry you can't trout the defense out all game and expect them not to get gassed.

 

And some people aren’t even happy when we win.

 

Pay attention to the NFL and you will realize that no game is over until it's over. The most important thing is the Steelers found a way to win the game as a team. I realize you are not happy for the win so you need to find something to complain about.

 

But we did.

And we did it with a QB who missed all of last years and needed surgery.

And we normally start slow but we didn’t.

And we fumbled and overcame it.

And we made dumb assed penalties and over came them.

We won and some people aren’t quite aware enough to realize this.

No because Watson, Tannehill and Jackson will b!tch slap our D. If Driskel can do what he did today...a backup QB....we are doomed. Secondary was torched today...and Bush got owned by Fant.

 

I'm not happy because we've barely beat arguably the two worst teams in the league. Starting QB out and biting fingers in 4th. Writing is on the wall. We are losing to half decent teams like Texans and Titans.
