New Pink Floyd Album "Endless River"

That doesn't surprise me about your friends. People make the same mistake about Skynyrd and refer to the band as a "he". Although the band is named after Leonard Skinner it is spelled different and just represents the whole band. People do the same thing with Alice Cooper. You ever heard how they got their name?

 

It's always been my understanding that Alice Cooper started out as the band name, but that he eventually became a solo artist and took it as his own name later on. I've never heard how the name came about, though.

 

They asked a ouija board to give them a name and that's what they came up with. Vincent gets to use the name but it is co-owned by the band or something like that.

LOL! I know. I would LOVE to know which band member actually moved the little thing they use on the board.

 

Right, lol I wonder if the spirit/ demon name was Alice Cooper or that the name had some kind of signafigence ( spelling) lol, in the past........ Kind of like that old song Mr Crowley buy Ozzy... lol

 

Mr Crowley is seriously one of my favorite guitar solos of all time. Randy Rhodes absolutely was out his mind on that dude!
