New Numbers for 4 Players

Golden = 21
Robinson = 57
B Johnson = 91
Paulson = 81

 

Interesting, I had read that Robinson had reached out and said he'd like #91 and that Johnson wanted 57 or 59. They kinda flip flopped on that. But who knows how much truth was in what I had read. Going to be weird to see someone else representing that #91. Hopefully Johnson represents it well!

 

Going along the lines of numbers worn by previous players/etc and new players representing them well...out of the bunch Johnson has a better chance of that than Robinson in my eyes.

Neither one of these guys is likely to start any games at all, or log meaningful playing time outside of special teams. That's not just this year, but forever on the Steelers. I doubt the team said, "Hmm, Johnson has a better chance of succeeding with us, so we'll give him #91." That's like choosing which waterboy is going to be the next Ben Roethlisberger. I think it's more likely the report I relayed was wrong.
