In 2008, our second game of the season we barely beat the Browns 10 to 6.

Later on that season we lost to the Titans 31-14.

This statement alone contradicts literally the multiple pages of debate you have had with others.

We can sum up the multiple pages of debate into one sentence "I support the Steelers even when they tie and others don't." Just because you did not understand that doesn't mean that I contradicted myself.

You're quite the follower, a flip flopper, one second you're posting how many super bowl's the Steelers have won to support the team, the next second you're following the crowd and supporting the Steeler haters right to hate on the team and hate on anyone who still supports the team after not winning a game.

You're like the hands on a clock. Flip. Flop. Flip. Flop.

You're being silly, but that's better than being angry or upset.
Statistics are for baseball and fantasy. I've watched every game Ben has played in the NFL, he's regressed over 15 seasons.

Brady doesn't eat sugar, Ben thinks birthday cake is one of the four basic food groups.

I don't know if he wants to argue what the definition of the word "opinion" is or whether he just wants me to admit that the OP was an opinion as if to say the guy has that right to his opinion. I've already said he has the right to his opinion but I have a right to disagree. Either way, it's boring.

Writers are not supposed to be boring.

Let's see, he's gotten older, slower, fatter, dimmer(?), he loses to the Browns (Watt's blocked FG tied, but Ben lost), he doesn't play preseason, he openly talked about retiring 2 seasons ago, he told the media "maybe I don't have it anymore" last season....what else.....

FFS, enough with this "my fan boner is bigger than your's" nonsense. Your credibility immediately goes in the sh!tter when you start questioning how other fans support this team if it isn't exactly the same as you.

    Oh yeah, and welcome SoCal.

I wanted to understand and sympathize with such people. However, as time has passed, I have come to learn that such individuals will never alter their well being and ignore the main issues within themselves.

In short? I suppose I do have myself to blame to sympathize with such poeple. However, such is another learning and teaching moment for myself. :smiley1:

In my opinion and I can only speak for myself is that the frustration and negativity I have comes from the feeling that this team should accomplish more. I’m a die hard yinzer with every sport from the Steelers Pirates Pens and both Pitt football and hoops. When I think about my criticism it’s only with one team right now the Steelers. Because they have so much talent and continually make the same mistakes and lack leadership to take the next step. It’s frustrating to watch because this is their time! Once Ben retires they might not be good for 10 years, who knows. I used to complain about Jaime Dixon and Pitt guess what there time has gone and now they are obsolete. The Pirates and Pitt Football, complain about what?? They cannot compete in the leagues they play in. The Pens got it right after wasting years of Sid and Genoa prime by changing coaches and philosophy. The Steelers biggest strength will end up being their biggest flaw. Loyalty to a fault. Tomlin has been exposed for years but here we go again! Be happy to watch our team throw away yet another season.

Older, slower, fatter, and dimmer? He's a QB, not an RB or WR. He doesn't have to be young to be good. He doesn't have to be fast to be good, he never was fast to begin with. I don't know about him getting dimmer, he used to ride motorcycles without a helmet.

He loses to the Browns? One game is one game.

He doesn't play preseason? Ben's prima donna ego has to be stroked so you can't put him in there for much preseason action. He has to feel that he's too good for preseason.

He talked about retiring 2 years ago? He wants everyone to beg him to stay "Please! Please Mr. Roethlisberger don't leave us." He's always been a drama queen.

More of a comparison of Patriot fans to Steeler fans but I don't really know for sure. They might be calling Belichik a horrible coach after some losses. Maybe they did that time he tried to go for it on 4th down backed up against the Colts and didn't make it and the Colts scored and won they may have.

So Steeler hate is accepted and Steeler support is not.

    Got it.

Well if they did besides during a short moment they are idiots. Tomlin isn’t even in BBs zip code Country Code or Universe when it comes to coaching

There are 32 teams. We pick in the bottom half of the draft every year but we are still competitive.

A few years ago the 49'ers almost won the super bowl then they went on to become one of the worst teams in the NFL again. You might want to appreciate the simple things more. Just being in the playoffs is fantastic compared to back to back to back 4 win, 3 win, and 2 win seasons.

Statistically Tomlin is one of the better coach's.

As for Belichick, no one would even know his name if it wasn't for the one in a million Tom Brady draft pick.
