New Grass for Heinz Field

I'm glad they have stayed with grass and not installed an artificial surface.

 

I agree. Turf=greater risk of knee injuries.

 

That's nothing, California has new grass in every field in the State - oh wait - you're talking about sports - never mind.

 

Maybe this has something to do with the Martavius hold up?

 

Grass turf + Great grounds crew= Outstanding playing field. All I ask, is that they build a football stadium on campus for the pitt panthers

There's no room

 

The modern stuff isn't as bad, with the little rubber pellets so there is more "give." And it is softer than the "green cement" as was in 3 Rivers.

 

In California, we plant weed. The way God intended.

 

In Canada, weed plants itself. The way nature intended.

 

In my basement, I plant weed. The way I intended it.

Or would that be and I tend to it?

 

Locally , here in Western Pa the players are saying they love the new turf. It was a big deal on the news last night.

 

I was at the Fan fest last night and at least this early, the field is looking the best it ever has.
