I admit I worry about them too, but let's try to enjoy this ride so far. I also read how Steelers haven't had impressive wins, coming from Pats fans. Well, lets tally those suckers. Also included other 8 wins or above teams.

    Pats have beaten:
    1 8-2 team
    1 5-4 team
    5 4-6 teams
    1 3-7 team

Total wins of opponents beaten: 36

    Steelers:
    1 8-2 team
    3 6-4 teams
    1 5-5 team
    1 4-6 team
    1 3-7 team
    1 0-10 team

Total wins of opponents beaten: 38

    Let's tally the other heavyweights

    Filthadelphia, lol jk philly:

    1 7-3 team
    1 5-5 team
    4 4-6 teams
    1 3-7 team
    1 2-8 team
    1 1-9 team

total: 34 wins that's with 9 wins lol

    Saints

    1 7-3 team
    1 6-4 team
    2 5-5 teams
    3 4-6 teams
    1 3-7 team

    total 38 wins

    Vikings:

    1 8-2 team
    1 7-3 team
    2 5-5 teams
    2 4-6 teams
    1 3-7 team
    1 0-10 team

    total: 36 wins

Also our defense is pretty darn good, last time I checked we won SB's with pretty darn good defenses.

We will beat patriots this time, enjoy the ride til then.

All i will say is this. When we play them, barring a major injury, we beat em by 10. Book it:rawk:

Remember the game where they played at Heinz Field and won and as Brady was leaving the field he said he hate this stadium, didn't mind the fans but hated playing at Pittsburgh.

This was the game where he got hit down near the endzone still made they TD pass and Da'beard helped him up with a smile.

I will hate that game forever, forever and ever and evet

I was wondering if the Steelers and Jags win out. Jags and Patriots have same record who has the tie breaker? Patriots being 3rd seed and having to play wild card would be crucial.

As an avid Philly hater it would be just my luck we smoke Brady to get to SB and then beat by Eagles.

I have a bad feeling we beat the Patsy's in the Burgh and still miss out on #1 seed.

Who cares how many wins our opponents have. We beat Minnesota and KC, but lost to Chicago. That shows that our opponents record doesn't matter, what matters is our record. 8-2 is the same whether we play the Patriots every time or the Browns every time. This isn't college where a bunch of people subjectively decide who is a good team and who isn't. Record is the only thing that matters. We're going to be in the playoffs, hopefully with home field throughout. At that point, it's not going to matter who we've played and who our opponent has played, we'll need to beat them to advance. Strength of schedule means nothing.

I may be one of the few on here but I'm looking forward to playing the Cheatriots this year. I hope we're all healthy and they are too because I want our best going against their best and I want to see them beaten.
It's time to get this monkey off of our backs. F them. I want a win and I really think if we start firing on all cylinders we can beat them. If we can't handle the Pats straight then we don't deserve another Lombardi until we can.

And F the Pats fans too. I couldn't care less what they say about our team or Steeler Nation. Seriously and honestly - I couldn't care less. All I really care about is what happens on the field for 60 minutes and I want to see us beat them even if only by 1 point.

Seeing Brady sacked and intercepted a few times and then him crying and whining about it would be icing on the cake!

Brady loves to play our team when we sit there in a soft zone. The one and I mean one time we had the corners to run man we embarrassed him.

This thread was created to show that Steelers are a legit 8-2 team, and no matter what New England has done we have kept up, and we are #1 seed for a reason.

In the words of Chad Gray, I hope our Defense sends him a message :

    I wanna play a game,
I just wanna play a game,
One that you've never played before,
One that you'll never play again I'm sure.

Seen it to many times and its shameful.

I always feel like we know our Defense has to play tough to beat those bums, but he still always finds a way to carve us up lol

To be honest, although I do hate them, the Patriots and Brady are great. Their schedule for the rest of season is pretty much a cake walk minus the Steeler game in the Burgh. Even if we beat them in the Burgh I still think they will end up the #1 seed:(

The packers lost two starters on defense to injury sunday Clay Matthews groin, and D tackle Clark to high ankle sprain so the pack wont be at full strength sunday night...

For us to beat the Pats, and the Pats to end up the #1 seed, we would need to lose 2 other games and go 12-4 (or worse) while they go 13-3. Very possible, but I think unlikely.

This is a different team now. Typically they would lose to those they should be such as the Titans but the defense is pretty damn good and the offense is getting into rhythm . I dont see us losing to the pack
