The amount of incorrect things being said in this thread is staggering. I know what you are thinking, “well, what makes the information you believe the correct information” and to that I’ll just say that people who don’t believe we landed on the moon say the same thing.

Rule of thumb, if you peddle in conspiracy theories, you are likely on the wrong side of the argument and people who probably failed 8th grade science shouldn’t think they know more than experts who study this stuff for a living and have dedicated their lives to helping others.

Oh well, welcome to the age of disinformation.

Not talking about anyone forcing you to get it. If a company requires it you still have a choice. How many of you had vaccinations before you were allowed to go to school? How many of you had your kids vaccinated?

For reasons I can’t figure out this vaccination has been drawn on Party lines.

It's all to play to a base of Freedom fighters and taking the country back and don't let them take your guns away ..IMO most people that are making that argument don't really believe it they just know they can sway others to be paranoid and to believe misinformation..I don't care to argue as most people have already made up their minds , I just find it sad that people have died and will continue to die behind what I consider lies..

This is a great example of where the misinformation comes from. A number is published, and immediately someone with an agenda repeats it with the incorrect context, and things snowball from there. It’s like someone in an earlier post said that they are in a state with a 38% vaccination rate, and had zero COVID deaths in the last 30 days. It’s false information because every state with less than 40% vaccinations reported multiple COVID deaths in just the last week. In fact, I think every state reported COVOD deaths last week irrespective of vaccination rates. Vermont may be an exception, but Vermont also leads the nation in vaccinations.

I fully get why someone would be concerned about a vaccine that has yet to receive full FDA approval, but when the skepticism is fueled by misinformation it’s sad.

obviously you aren’t listening to them. Unless you’re listening to that doctor that believes in demon semen. Given some of your statements that wouldn’t come as a surprise.

So if this vaccine does get FDA accreditation vs the fast track route....can the Rooneys or the NFL require it because they are the employer and are these public or private companies?

A choice of losing your job for many is no choice. None ar all. It's how they feed their family. Pay rent or mortgage. That is no choice. You know that.

I’ll take your prayers and sympathy at face value, and thank you for that. With respect to differing views: there should have never been a political bias where COVID is concerned. It started with misinformation from the top of the political chain, and spread like wildfire from there. I can understand why some people may have felt that it was overblown early on. After all, that’s what they were seeing in the mixed messaging. However, the evidence has become clear and indisputable over time. I personally don’t see any way that a reasonable person can vilify the doctors and scientists fighting this disease, and pretend that it’s just the flu, or worse, a hoax. I believe that we should have been able to come together as a country to fight against COVID the way that we would rally against an invading enemy. As for personal experience, my wife had COVID in early March of 2020, and I had something at the same time, but the lack of testing that early in the pandemic prevented me from getting tested for a week (she was tested right away for work). Our experience was that we had mild symptoms. No hospitalization. No days spent in bed. However, we were cognizant of what was happening to other people around the world, and rather than dismiss the suffering of others and say “we were fine, this is nothing” we were thankful and relieved that we were unscathed.

Companies have lots of rules you have to follow in order to be employed. Not completely different than requiring drug tests.
We make tough choices all the time that affect our livelihood. This may become one of them.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/profoo...-players-14000-for-every-protocol-breach/amp/

"NFL teams can’t force players to get the COVID-19 vaccine, but they can make life difficult for unvaccinated players. And they will.

The latest example comes from Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians, who told Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times that they will fine any unvaccinated player $14,000 on the spot any time he is not wearing a mask where he is supposed to be, or is otherwise breaking any of the NFL’s protocols for unvaccinated players.

Arians also noted that unvaccinated players are tested every day and vaccinated players are tested only once every other week, and that will make life a lot less convenient for the unvaccinated.

“A vaccinated player will get tested 14 times this year,” Arians said. “An unvaccinated player will get tested 140.”"

I don't know which part is Bruce Adrian saying stuff or the NFL. But this is 100% a prick punk.

I had someone tell me yesterday how I was wrong for saying how vaccinated people should live. Well, then why are you trying to tell us how to believe? If you want to get vaccinated, go do it. But if you think you're still going to get sick by an unvaccinated person, then your vaccine isn't doing it's job.

This is all very sad how people are at each other thoughts for believing differently. Because of right now they're saying, "we will make unvaccinated players lives hell and we will". So how long until they say, "let's go hang them"?

As it stands now it’s the unvaccinated that’s making life hell for the rest of the world. Y’all played your dumbass games with masks and lockdowns. Watched your stupid ****ing plandemic videos. Spewed your fake cures for months. Listened to your it’s just the flu bull****. It will be gone by summer. Now we actually have a chance to reallly stop this thing and it’s a new ****ing excuse. **** all of you. Take the vaccine or don’t take the vaccine. It’s your choice, but don’t whine about the consequences of not taking it.

This shows an amazing lack of understanding about how vaccines work. They make you less likely to get sick and in this case less likely if sick to get really sick. They do not confer absolute immunity.

If your freedom is really so important that you value it above your own health and the health of those around you surely it is also worth putting up with a few extra requirements that the vaccinated don't have to undergo.

    Here's a fact for you.

When Germany took over France, every house had a soldier stay in their house. 3 years went by and every soldier asked the people they were staying with, "we need every person name that you know, their age, sex, religion and where they live".

The following year Hitler lost his marbles and started killing Jews.

Christa Hannah wrote a book (the nightingale) about her believing she was doing the right thing and now how she can't sleep at night knowing her friends that are Jews are dead.

Here's another fact. Hitler hated Poland because when he was a child, Poland took over some land and treated the Germans horrible who stayed. So when Hitler took over he asked the world if he could take it over and they said no. So he then staged a false flag on Germany's library where it was burnt down. And then he was given permission to attack Poland.

....... There's some who believe in conspiracies where they wear a tin foil hat. But a lot of conspiracies are a repeat of our history. Therefore it's not stupid for someone to say, "wearing a Hitler patch is the same as taking the jab". It may sound extreme, but when you know history, it doesn't sound so extreme.

I just said in a previous comment, the NFL/Bruce Adrian's saying "they can't force players to get the vaccine but they will make their lives hell".

So what's next when that doesn't work? Who will be the one who starts saying, "hang the unvaccinated people".?

I don't care either way ...but you keep saying the same things.
Do You not know, or not believe that the the vaccinations we took as kids , or we give 2 kids 2 start school were not developed, tested , and run in less than a Year.
Stats on either side be dang....No one no matter where You stand on this can say this is not true.

We are giving a Vaccination that has had less , clinical trials, and testing than the Drugs they yank from the shelves every year. Tell me I'm Lying
