Of course he would, like every FA.

And while not a big offer, he did turn down more from Ravens and apparently even more from the Eagles. That’s not common. He also turned down a chance to play with KC.

And it was reported he turned down 11 million from KC.

So if it's accurate..unless he expected unbelievable money offered, I'm not sure why he stayed in Pittsburgh for at least 3mil less?

Juju will only count $2.5m against the cap as they’ve done the void year trick again, so the Nelson issue may be unrelated.

Was just coming to post that.

I guess it’s still possible they wanted to restructure him and he said only for more money.

Yeah I’d say that’s almost certainly the case, try to get something now rather than a compensatory pick in 2023

Didn’t realise there are some very good corners still available in free agency, might be tough to get a trade done. They could end up cutting him

I was jut thinking something similar Blast. When Davis, Burns, Mitchell, Chickillo, Barron, Hargrave left there wasn't this outpouring of emotion. That defense was tight this past year and the normal business of the league is hitting them hard.

It appears he didn't get that much more according to reports in terms of ravens. It was about the same. It wasn't any significant jump. A few million dollars wasn't probably going to sway especially one. 1 year deal. This was his best chance to try to get a big payday. He knows the system, comfortable with Ben, and he out of the group could possibly have the best numbers The KC thing was smart. He wasn't going to get big targets. Tyreek and kelce are the top 2 options. He would be 3rd at best.

Because he wouldn't have improved his stock in KC. He wouldn't get the targets.

I really do not blame him, he will be 29 this year, with the possibility of the Cap exploding he has the chance for 1 more decent contract. He could have extended with voidable years, blah blah. This move puts his future in his hands.

Eagles offered him a multi year deal, can't find the details.
May have just been a friendly call.

When talking about Ben's insistence I was talking about the team. Ben can't force juju to do anything.

They probably would have cut Watkins and he’d take Hardmans snaps. Between the two of them, would put him over 100 targets.

I think he would have shined there, everyone says he needs a #1, with Hill and Kelce getting so much attention and Mahomes throwing to JuJu, he would have done well there.

Sammy is a free agent and probably isn't coming back. But idk if he would talk all of hardman's snaps. He fits better for what they like to do. But despite all the attention they get they both still will pit up big numbers due to how great they are. He wasn't going to put up big numbers with thay team with kelce and hill both getting 100+ touches. Didn't make sense

Maybe he would have but I jusy didn't see it. A healthy Sammy had just last year he only had 52 catches for 673 yards with 2 tds. Juju needs to try to put up a pro bowl caliber season to get the payday he's looking for. I just don't see how he would do that for kc. And what he provides for the WRs are different than anyone else they have but how much different is he from kelce. Kelce is essentially juju in playstyle and is better at it.

If DJ and Claypool improve, and everyone thinks they will. And if the Stillers run more in Albert Einstein Canada’s offense, as everyone things they will. How Do Juju numbers improve? Middling #2 WRs in the NFL don’t become famous. But no one out pizza the hut.

No they're not. As soon as they brought Ben back, they could have restructured several vets to clear plenty of cap space.

Instead they dragged their feet and now have an obliterated roster.

But hey, at least Ben gets his farewell tour.
