Need some advice.........

Hello Steeler Nation, I'll be flying from Hawaii to Pittsburgh just to see the stadium. Where is the best hotel for me to stay? I would love to see the stadium from my hotel window. (I'm not really worried about the price) And which restaurant can I find the famous Roethlisberger sandwich? Thanks in Advance.

 

You could do the Sheraton at Station Square. Nice view across the river.

I would like to just fly from Pittsburgh to Hawaii and get a hotel room with some nice views of the waves. Maybe some day that dream will come true.

 

Why not fly in for a home game and see the stadium from the inside out?

The Roethlisberger sandwich is very good. There is another Peppi's location on Western avenue which is walking distance from the stadium. I think it's the original but the strip is a fun place to walk around and there is lots of Steeler gear to be found.

If you are getting the sandwich, bring your Crestor.

Aww...just the mention of Hawaii! Lived on Kauai for 5 years,oldest was born there.

The days when you had to get up and go to sports bar at 7 am for mimosas and brunch. When the only game you could see in person was the Pro Bowl...

That said...my first trip to Pitt in Dec for a game was amazing. We stayed outside city though...
