    So what?

Does Burrow have the ability to run for a 1st down when the WR's aren't open? - YES.

Does he pass the eye test of having enough ahtleicism to escape the rush? - YES.

That's all he needs to have.

I do not want a statue QB, I don't think anyone with any sense does either. First and foremost it is about throwing the ball and reading the defenses, but you have to be able to use your legs and be agile and athletic enough to escape the rush. If you're all arm and no legs, you're limited, if you're all legs and no arm - you're limited.

It's just that simple, why have a QB who is limited?

Same as Mayfield, despite his HOF numbers Brees was also handicapped by being short, would he have been a better QB with Brady's build? - absolutely yes, but he had the skills to have an awesome career anyway. You have to factor in where Brees played his football, in the two most QB div's in football, a few years in the AFC West in balmy SD, and then the majority in the AFC South, all home games in domes, ATL in a dome and sunny TB and Carolina.

Brees would not have had nearly the career he had playing all his career in the AFC North, and his stature would have hurt him.

    6 4's better than 5 11 - 6 0 - for a QB it just is.
