it doesn't even matter anymore. good teams don't lose like this. so i'm looking forward to the draft already.

Honestly, this thread is pointless. We know nothing will change. Pittsburgh's owners have decided to settle for mediocrity. They've sat on those 6 championships and told themselves they are the best and now they aren't anymore.

 

But at least they honored the Rooney Rule. We’ve got that going for us. LOL.

 

So we have no talent left on offense. But at least we have a high functioning locker room. Besides Ben wanting money if I am him I retire after the game. This team has never been further from winning a championship since he has been here.

 

Anyone think the constant rotation was hurting them more than keeping guys fresh?

 

So how about that Moncrief.....yikes. I really had high hopes, but that was a bad, bad showing. Eli Rogers still a FA?

 

Eli would have been much better.

They are gutless. Ben looked confused with wide eyes and his mouth hanging open the whole game, looking like a blowup doll. Trash.

 

Me too, turtle. I thought he would really excel with Ben as his QB. What a terrible performance

 

Did they ever get Nix and Grimble in the game to combat the dollar look? This was so similar to the first Ravens game last season where things were working and suddenly the fell in love with the 5 WR grouping and struggled.

 

Rookie WR is gonna be pretty good. Washington meh. Juju is a taller Jarvis Landry. Moncreif is terrible. That secondary yikes. Tuitt and heyward are just average guys. No AB means less drama and also a lot less points unfortunately. This is a 5 win team. Ben and the coaches also were really bad. Worst performance ive seen from any NFL squad in a while including Cleveland

 

Why is Nix on the roster, when you don't use him on short yardage plays? Too many fails on 3rd and 1, 4th and 1.

 

Moncrippled should be dropped just like all those balls that went to him

 

I think Ben was 1-4 throwing deep to Washington with a pick.

Defense can’t adjust, can’t communicate, can’t pressure, can’t cover, and can’t tackle. Otherwise they did pretty good.

Offense looked like they were making it up as they went along. Kept it vanilla as to not tip their hat to Seattle.

At least backup center didn’t toss the ball over Ben’s head.

I remember an opening season shellacking loss about 4 or 5 seasons ago by the Ravens where they cut blocked our o-line all day.

We didn’t win the SB that year either.

Tomlin never has this team clicking early. He sucks as a HC but it has nothing to do with his skin or the Rooney rule as another incel implied.

 

The only time I saw Nix was when he missed a tackle on kick coverage unfortunately....
