The season was toast the minute the schedule was released. Now that the offense is like a pee wee o line, lets just take our medicine and bottom out for a year and get a elite top first round qb and not old rubbage.

Not that I would say tank but this schedule is brutal. And reality is this team went 6-10 and got Ben.

If anyone thinks that Fumbles Fields is the next great QB I will sell you the Fort Pitt bridge.

One of the YT channels that highlights individual players did one on Frazier. So many I can't remember who it was, but Zach is definitely what you said. If he stays healthy and grows he can be that anchor for a decade, the grit and tenacity is so evident.

As hard as it is on the ego, if they went 6-11 or there abouts, were competitive in a lot of those losses, I actually would feel better than going 9-8 or even gaining the last play off spot and then getting blown out. I think Omar has done a remarkable job drafting, filling a ton of holes, yet at times you still have to hit a bottom as you grow.

Sad to say could be a blessing in disguise except the depth angle. Frazier should have got the starting gig from day one while I appreciate Tomlin wants to respect the veterans Frazier is clearly the best center on this team it's a no brainer to start him.

I wonder how long we would have had to suffer before a real change was made without injury.

I certainly hope they don’t do this.

Going 6-11 or even 5-12 could be the best thing for the Steelers this year. They need a franchise QB in the draft if they're ever going to be true Super Bowl contenders again, and the higher the pick in 2025, the better their chances are of getting one. If they get off to a slow start, like 1-3 or 2-4, I can easily them going 6-11 with that brutal 2nd half of the season schedule. Not saying they will, but the offense has looked really bad so far in pre-season. It's very difficult to draft a top tier QB when your picking at #19 or #20 year after year. Look at the top QB's in the NFL now, their teams were only able to draft them after a losing season.
