    Can't believe I/we (except for Forgotten Won) missed including perhaps the greatest faux war movie ever - Dr. Strangelove! Slim Pickens deserved an Oscar for the final scene alone. :thumbs up:

    More modern would be Inglourious Basterds.

    I generally don't like war movies all that much, but "Apocalypse Now" and "The Blue Max" are 2 of my favorite movies.
