“We were just thinking up stuff on the fly after that,” said Harris, who added he watched wrestling with his friends growing up. “I was like, ‘Shoot, let me grab this flag right here, then. Let me walk out, and I’ll walk behind you like you’re the champion.’”

Once Baker won her match, Harris and Freiermuth jumped the ring while the wrestler started trash-talking her future opponents. After Baker finished, Harris took the mic and prepared to cut his own wrestling promo. But the event organizers quickly turned it off and went to a commercial break.

“They were smart enough to cut the mic off, that’s what happened,” Harris said with a laugh. “I was gonna say some s---. I grabbed it because she was walking away, and I took it out of her hand. I started saying stuff. But they did the right thing and turned off the mic.”

He was interviewed on Dan Patrick's show yesterday by a guest host. A breath of fresh air. Involved in schools in the Pitts area. He is the real deal on and off the field.

It wasn't that long ago JuJu was trick or treating around Pittsburgh in his game uniform.

Until the end of his rookie deal anyways, then as long as he signs at a discount because a RB and a 2nd contract should never be used in the same sentence.

That's not true at all. And if he continues, he deserves to be paid.

He would have to do a lot to justify a big contract, if he takes a discount that's fine. I'm in the camp that a RB is easily replicable and paying them is a waste.

Bell would have gotten a second contract if he was being reasonable.

I’m not getting “I want to set a new market for RB/WR position” vibes from Harris.

He was a rookie, let's see what he does in year 4/5

Giving Bell a contract (offering) was a mistake, I said it at the time before he declined.

And the Steelers were dead wrong based on the illustrious career Bell had after he left.

Should have kept AB too. Team player all the way! :thumbs up:
