I agree with 99.5% of everything you have said here the last three days(just reading it now) the .5 is for the Flores hire where we know he mentioned it to AR2 to see if they could and Art said ok. And also the Vick hiring but I thought he used all his stroke on that one shot so yeah. If he had any left he would have saved Peezy.

Given the market continued decline it might be his only chance to get some big money, not a lot but big. I think most guys should be worried about seeing the midpoint of any contract these days.

Quarterback Bubby Brister has publicly complained about the complexities of the new attack, which has more passing plays and more formations than the Steelers are used to, plus all new terminology and a new system for calling audibles. Brister says it gives him no freedom to improvise.

6-4 probably won't but could end up being 13-4. What are you complaining about now.

And then Steelers hired Cowher, benched Brister and started O'Donnell. The rest is history.

Tomlin may not have complete control like a GM, but I can almost certainly guarantee that he has input into his staff. I know he chose to keep Canada this year and not get a new OC, ARII let it ride for as long as he could and then made the decision that had to happen and should have happened in the off sesaon. Say what you want about Tomlin, but this pathetic offense is on him ( his personel, his coaches and his guidance )

I like You a lot...so when I say this don't take it bad, but You Keep saying all star talent about this team, and past teams....like We are the only team in the NFL with talent.
How about let's look at it this way.....What players do we have that are better than any other players at that position???
Arguably Watt....Arguably Minkah....Ok I got two Arguably players.....who else??.....I can automatically think of other players from other teams better than any of our other players. Yes we have some good players, but so does everyone else.

You don't even know for absolute sure He even hired Canada....let alone kept Canada. There are only two people that can actually do this....the owner, and the GM, and still it has to go by the owner. Of course He has input. I have input at My job also...I would bet You had/have input at your job also....doesn't make Me, or You (unless You own the company) the last word. Hell Rooney has as much knowledge, and knowing of Canada as Tomlin did. Canada did coach for Pitt

I can't see that working, especially with Warren's emergence this season.

I wasn't particular commenting on this current team, I was trying to comment on past teams and rosters. We had pretty good talent
but only 3 playoff wins over a long period of time. It is time for us as someone else suggested is to put up or shut up. Or cut bait. I am
a homer, and want to see Steelers win and win big. It has been too long since we have been relevant.

This is an interesting quote from Najee considering what he was saying 3-4 weeks ago. I can imagine that being outplayed by a guy who was undrafted and the public calling him out more personally, is starting to apply a different kind of pressure

No RBs are getting real deals lately. I believe the leading rb in rushing last year had to take a one year deal this year, or something close to that.

It was Jabobs of the raiders and he plays this year on the franchise tag...same thing for Barkley with the giants....Harris will have no power next season if he holds out for a new contract.None

So Najee refused to speak to the media about Faulkner Friday. He’s become a distraction and a little bich who’s mad because he isn’t what he thinks he is. Bench his sorry ass and then ship him to Siberia.

Exactly what I'm getting at. None of the RBs have any power right now. Yet their Qb who freaking sucks got 4 years...160 million, and 92 million guaranteed.

That doesn't benefit the team in any way.

Correct, if Anthony McFarland becomes the #2 RB then the team is in a heap of trouble.

I guess the good thing about putting everyone on ignore is that you can say the dumbest sh!t and not get called out for it.
