I said he's explosive because he has the speed to make a big play, he had a big play against the Steelers last year after a reception.

Harris was a beast today. Their biggest mistake in the first half was not running him inside enough.

    Neither have been impressive TBH.

Najee had a great game today though. Would love to see him do that a lot more often.

Najee ran hard today.. Just think what he could do behind a competent O-line.

In all honesty, maybe the less carries helped him. Kept him pretty fresh. Today was the first time all season he's looked like a RB that should be touching the ball at all, and the first time in his career that he looked like he had the ability to be a playmaker. If all it takes is only getting the ball 12-14ish times instead of running him out of gas giving him the ball 20+, then why not? If it unlocks a second gear, then spell him more. IDC who it is, we just need someone that can make a big play from time to time. Najee finally made one today and it was beautiful.

They were forcing the ball to Warren today and he did nothing.

Breaking ankles and Harris are two terms I didn't think I'd ever hear in the same sentence. ;)

That run was so nice, but just giving the guy some room to get going is probably all that is needed.

Just think of what He could do if one team we played was actually scared of our passing game

That's a bit harsh, dont you think? Najee ran hard through the win streak. Today was the first time all year he has ripped off big chunks, but certainly not the first time in his career.

I don't think so. I thought Najee looked horrible so far this year. He hasn't looked decisive in his cuts, he's looked slow, and was wholly ineffective. Today, he ran pretty well, but had two extremely good plays that HE made, not his line. For a guy who rarely gets more than what is blocked, he did twice in a big way. On the TD, Najee made a decisive cut, squeezed through a tight hole and then turned on the jets down the sideline and scored. He hasn't had a run like that in his entire career. He also juked someone out of his shoes and got another like 12 yards on it earlier that drive. These two plays are the types of plays good backs make with some level of frequency in the NFL (I watch a lot of games and see this every week from different guys), and they are the types of plays that Najee basically never makes. The fact that he never made plays on his own is a HUGE part of the reason why I don't think he is a very good back... I can count on one hand the number of memorable runs that Najee's had in his career, and those two are the best two. Hands down. They were freaking awesome. I don't know who wore 22 yesterday, but I want to see more of THAT guy and not the guy we saw the first 58 games of his career.

If Najee continues to make plays like those, then our offense is going to be a tough one to handle. Play making ability outside Fields and Pickens was SORELY needed and we got some of it yesterday. I'd love to see that continue.

I mean, all I did was praise Najee's game. It was the best one in his career... Honestly he had two runs that were definitely the best two of his entire career in the same drive. The TD run being his best, and by a lot.

I just hope he continues to play that way and he doesn't turn back into same old Najee after we got a taste of whatever Sunday was lol If he continues to make plays like those, our offense will greatly benefit.

No, it isn't true that Harris never makes those moves. He is a guy who tends to start seasons slowly, but he has also been playing hurt the last couple of weeks and his line has been a disaster. Time after time, plays have been blown up in the backfield. It isn't just the injuries up front. It is a passing game that scares no one, allowing defenses to keep an eighth defender in the box. Far too often, a safety is running free into the backfield right at the point of attack. Harris isn't getting the opportunity to get going far too often, especially on those pitch plays.

Please stop. That isn't all you did. You tossed a tiny bit of praise his direction on the way into ripping into him again. That you don't realize he has made great plays before shows your bias.
