Mystery Solved, Welcome Back Kevin Dotson

Looks like Dotson is activated today along with Buggs. Good to have them back and I hope not to see any more concerns about where Dotson is. Here we go.......

 

So what was the mystery that was solved?

 

Find WALDO I mean Dotson.

 

It was colonel mustard in the billiard room with the lead pipe.

Look back at all the posts wondering why nothing was updated about Dotson or his condition and members being concerned and you'd understand. Or maybe not.

 

So what was the mystery? You certainly didn’t explain it.

 

Actually, he did. I'm not sure why people have such a problem with this thread. I was one of the posters wondering what was going on with Dotson, because we hadn't seen any updates since he was placed on the COVID-19 list. I don't think the team ever even confirmed that he tested positive, but given how long he was out, I'm sure he was sick.

 

You're making my point. What mystery was solved? He was on the Covid list for a while and we never really got any details. We still don't have any details. Still a mystery....

 

We do have details now. He is well enough to return to the team. That is a pretty big detail. Part of the mystery was when he would be able to return. That has been solved.

 

He was on the Covid list then we didn't hear anything. Now he's off the Covid list and we still don't know anything.

 

Hard to believe how this post deteriorated due to someone wanting to pick a fight over absolutely nothing. I am not going to indulge further on this posting as I only thought that this was good news of an important player who no one knew what his status was regarding returning to the team to play, severity of illness, etc, and his activation answered those questions. .This individual says he still doesn't know anything. So be it.

 

Let me paint this another way.
So a couple kids go missing after being last seen riding their bikes then 10 years later they show up alive. Someone asks what happened? Where have they been? Then someone says I don’t know, but mystery solved.

 

That sounds like comparing apples to wartermelons. This was a much shorter absence. The questions were about his health. We may not know how sick he was, but we do know that he is well enough to return to the team this week.

 

This whole thread reminds me of the St Ives riddle.

OK. So the kids were missing for two weeks.

 

I got a better example for you Glenn, the Steelers are 10-0 quite possibly 11-0 by tomorrow night so Mike Tomlin is a better coach this year than last year.

This talk of people disappearing, then reappearing reminds me of this creepy 60's movie I first saw as a little kid called "Carnival of Souls". If anyone has seen it, then you know what I mean.

Anyhow, no matter why he was AWOL, I'm glad to see that Big Kev is healthy.

 

The only mystery there is why Tomlin sucked the before and all of a sudden learned how to coach this year.

 

To me there never really was a mystery. It is easy enough to put two and two together. Some people take longer to get over Covid than others. Dotson's extended absence most likely meant he needed more time to get well. The important thing is that he is now healthy and ready to play. We need him.
