Jerry O was at the combine working with the LBs, I heard on SNR Flores will be coaching OLBs, Flores has the title of senior defensive assistant so he might have more influence on all the LBs.

He was alright his rookie year, you don't cut him unless he's completely terrible in camp.

When they have to face Jamar Chase twice a year, they really need a #1 CB, preferably one with size and speed.

Bush had far more promise though in his first two seasons than those players. Remember, he tore his ACL and, as me and you have both discussed, ACL Injuries are not easy to recover from. It still takes quite a while for a player to return to 100% of what he once was.

Again, for him, 2021 will be a year to forget for certain. However, his third season pales in comparison to Artie's though. In fact, in 2018, Artie got benched, got his job back... only to get benched again. Bush has never had that happen to him.

Now, should Bush have been benched?! I say yes. However, that did not happen.

Exactly. There’s just no way they wouldn’t tap into that resource.

There is a video on Youtube called How bad was Tim Tebow really and my god I didn't realize he was that bad and yet he is going to be linked forever with the steelers because of the Tebowing in Denver

    That all said @HeinzMustard....

Agreed with your sentiment overall. Put up or shut up time for Devin Bush. No excuses.

I agree and I hope you’re right that he flourishes here. I was just passing on what Jags fans said about it on their boards. I have only seen him play against the Steelers so I can’t judge. Their fans said he played poorly last year and that he was more of a Will in a 4-3 rather than an ILB in a 3-4. I have no idea if that’s true.

Honestly I feel like a kid at Christmas. This is the most fun I can remember during free agency.

Devin Lloyd? Jordan Davis? Sauce Gardner? Someone else? Love all the possibilities Colbert and staff are giving this team in the draft with all these signings.

I have a little concern over his knee issue.
He gets a two-year, $16 million deal after the Jags signed him to a deal that at the time, made him the NFL's third-highest-paid inside linebacker - 4yr $57 mil.

The Jags has one heck of a defense and then sort of self-destructed afterwards. Jack has been a menacing tackling machine on a poor defense/team.

Coupling him with Bush could help. I don't view Bush as a Brian Bosworth, he's had some good moments up to that knee injury. Those things seem to linger in the mind even though the injury is healed. This is contract year for Bush, so maybe he steps out of that funk. I think both should do well under Flores guidance.

I think it's a solid signing in both cost and ability.

Another quality signing. The Schobert contract will be gone and his average play. The issue is still Devin Bush. I wonder if they will take an ILB since it looks like this will be his last season here.

I can't see them letting go of Devin. Risked a lot to get the fashion plate who has not even been in the same stratosphere as trading up 10 spots for. It was a mistake. Maybe Flores can rectify this mess.

Jack was released on the first day of free agency, not before the start of FA.

Not to mention I'm assuming NFL coaching staffs do collaborate on a daily basis. I mean, they'd be the only major business I know of, especially in the current business world, where that doesn't happen if they don't.

    Thanks.
I'm probably the only person in the world who is not a fan of AC/DC. I had Back in Black as a teen , but the more I listened 2 them ....the more I realized they had a formula 2 their songs. Play only in 3 keys, repeat the phrases over, and over...Example: TNT, Back in Black, Hells Bells, and almost everything they do. It's like they are afraid We won't remember the name of the song. LoL.
I do realize this comment will be unpopular. So....I will part with....I dig Rock and Roll ain't Noise Pollution. Especially the beginning Hybrid picking.:thumbs_up:

I generally agree with you. AC/DC can be fun… for a few songs. Then it gets redundant. I can’t imagine being entertained by a full AC/DC show. I’d be saying “didn’t they play that already?” at the beginning of every song after the 1st half hour.
