We better have a spy on this QB, I am predicting they will try running him 20 times this game.

Sure, I try to cover a world class athlete every day like every other member of this board.

I understand there are major learning curves, but the Steelers did expend a draft pick on the guy so I was hoping he might be a little further along right now and getting a little more playing time, that’s all.

They tried to trade him, but nobody wanted him. That guarantied 3 million dollar contract is the only thing that saved him. I hope he invests that money wisely, because I'd be shocked if he's still in the league next year

I would think they are doing this on experience alone and personnel matching. Roberts is a 2 down thumper and Robinson is similar, though athletic enough to maybe take some coverage responsibilities. If they think Walker is a better "3 down option" in coverage, they might just be trying to limit the amount of time that we have no coverage ILB's on the field at the same time. If Cleveland runs all game, I am sure we will see a lot of Robinson. I'd expect him to get a good amount of playing time anyways.

Robinson is a converted RB, this is only his third year of playing LB I think, there's a reason he was a late round pick.

DTR isn't that big, if he wants to run 20 times then the Steelers should pound him.

I expect a lot of runs from DTR on passing downs. Not designed, just drop back, look for your 1 receiver, and if covered try to run for the 1st down yourself.

It will drive us nuts, watching him pickup the 1st down, but the Steelers will get their hits on the QB as he escapes the pocket and runs for daylight.

We will probably play a lot of zone in spots so We won't have to have a spy.

My thoughts exactly. Robinson is a Buck LB in this defense. He is the backup to elandon roberts. I don’t know how much he has practiced at the Mack LB position. The two LB positions are not interchangeable skill sets that I can see. Different responsibilities. If roberts were to go down, I suspect we’d see Robinson take over as Buck

It has been a nice rest since the Patriots game.

Hoping to see Myles Jack on Saturday wearing the Green Dot to help this defense out.

The final Jeopardy answer is “Words Steelers fans never thought they’d have to say in 2023” Brice, what is your question?

I was disappointed to see that Myles Jack was not elevated to the active roster for Saturday.

And then I hope a wise ass reporter asks him weren’t you supposed to still have a job in the NFL with some team?

OK, according to DK on the Ramon Foster show today, DK said that Mike Tomlin said that Myles Jack will be playing on Saturday against the Bengals.

It is about time they set Walker down and gave Myles a chance. I am also assuming that Myles Jack will be back to wearing the Green Dot like he did last year, so maybe Patrick Peterson will know who on defense is calling the formations.
