Here's my wishlist for today's game vs ARI

    • Start the game with a long throw to Bryant / Heyward-Bey, even if it's an incomplete overthrown pass. Do this at the start of the second drive too: This should open up the field for Wheaton and Brown, and also for the running game.
    • Another long throw, right after we get the ball back with an interception or fumble.
    • Yes, I'm talking also about opening the playbook and let Vick make plays.
    • That said, I'd like to see a long TD by Bryant or Heyward-Bey early.
    • Vick needs to find a way to get the ball into Brown's hands, while spreading the football. Yes, we need to look balanced, in order to keep them from stacking 9 into the box.
    • While establishing a running game, mix Bell's runs with some handoffs to Williams.
    • The Cardinals are great at creating turnovers, keep them away from making plays, and give Vick time to throw.
    • Tuitt / Heyward winning their matchups should let front 6 (nickel) be in position to pressure Palmer.
    • Our OLBs having a couple of sacks, and creating 1 turnover (force a bad throw-interception or fumble)
    • Our DBs need to keep Fitzgerald out of making big plays, he's had new life this season.
    • Exotic blitzes. Often. Early.
    • Our DBs on frequent pressure coverage, early (probably won't happen with Golden at SS).
    • They'll test Robert Golden early. This kid making a play early, like a big hit, forced fumble, interception or breaking up a pass should give him confidence and keep them away from trying to pick him apart.
    • And I guess, if Golden plays a good game, this is the epitaph for Shamarko Thomas: sad story, but need to make a decision soon on him (if it hasn't been made).
    • Steal a couple of footballs. We've had multi-turnover games from our defense on back to back games. Make this another one.
    • A solid game by our STs could be the difference, and could balance this game, so:
    • A ST or DEF TD!
    Of course, the keepers:
    No dumb penalties
    No injuries
    And a W!

    What's on your list?

I'd add: Wallace getting the help he needs on the inside. We know Vick takes longer to set his feet than Ben, so we have to keep the middle of the line firm enough to allow him to go through his progressions - that way, he may actually see Brown once or twice.
