This is me sort of agreeing with you......

 

We're doomed

 

Because, After Mike Tomlin declined the penalty they were bringing out their FG unit to take the lead and go up 21 to 19. The Steelers getting the ball back would have only needed a last-minute FG to win the game.

 

And I thought we got a new hit shot receiver coach this year

 

Even if Stefanski had changed his mind and chosen to go for it, that's two times you have to stop them instead of one and you still give your offense some time to do something.

 

It is funny they were talking about this on last night's game, should a coach be allowed to change his mind on a call after he sees what his opponent plans to do.

In the Steelers game Mike Tomlin first declined the penalty setting up a 4th and 2. The Browns were then sending out the FG team to kick the go ahead FG. Mike Tomlin then changed his mind and decided to accept the penalty making it 3rd and 7.

 

They should not be allowed to change their mind without something relating to the referees like they have bad information or something. It opens up the clock being abused by Coach purposely picking a penalty that he's going to reverse. They can get a lot of extra time for his team to rest if that's something needed.

The Steelers had 10 players with a reception, and 8 players with a play over 20 yards .
