Started to think about that, but why didn't Ben throwing to Muth have that problem. Still has the best hands on the team.

I thought it was unsportsmanlike conduct, not a personal foul, but it was a weak call. The hold was legit and he has to play better, but plenty fo guys on both teams were getting into little scuffles after plays were over yesterday.

I take almost everything these ANALysts say with a grain of salt, even a former Steeler coach. They aren't on the field playing or coaching (anymore) and make zero impact, accept to entertain us fans with their "wisdom".

    Fair enough.

Russell hasn't played well as of late. However, Ravens/Steelers still remains an outlier for any QB that starts. As I said, should this continue to be an issue come Thursday, I will have that same concern.

The failed comeback by the Bengals last night might just be the dagger that puts them out. Had they won, it could have been a huge boost for them.

Not the best game for Harbaugh and his coaching staff

I disagree about the loss to the Chargers... though not entirely. Their path to getting one of the final seeds is likely out. Having the better divisional record at this point is their only hope.

Now, if they suffer two more losses?! Then they will be out of it.

    2. agreed on JF. USE HIM!

    12. we are always at risk with Tomlin. one and done, all of us have see it way too many times. The Turtle Tomlin offense is a problem. He has his hands in all the pots and THAT is a problem. that offense SUCKED yesterday. If he and AS and Russ and Co. cannot figure out how to produce in the RZ and not just line up for Boswell, we are ONE and DONE again. Don't set your sights high - the loss won't hurt as badly. It was pure suck yesterday. First and 10 - hand it to Najee. Did not change until the 2nd half. And then they put Warren in -he had more success because of his elusiveness. and his ability to catch. We BARELY beat the 'Skins the week before. Took a Moon Ball or we lose that game. We are winning.....barely. Tomlin needs to hand this over to AS and GET OUT OF the playroom - and leave the offense ALONE. But can't and he won't.

this is why I say we won't see another Trophy under Tomlin.....

Watching some GMFB this a.m. and showed a shot of Henry talking to Harbaugh on the sideline briefly....didn't seem to happy.

    Pros and Cons yesterday:

    Pros:
    1. Tomlin/ DC and OC - great game plan on both sides of the ball. He is getting more aggressive each week. Definitely outreached Ravens yesterday.
    2. Washington - Big target in the seam.
    3. Oliine - played with passion and fire
    4. Line - played a fundamentally sound game - maintained gaps and good pass rush lanes.
    5. R. Wilson - Did enough to win and to keep the changes moving when it mattered.
    6. Fields - He is a difference maker when in there that gives the opposing team something to game plan for. Would like to see us use him more in short down and red zone situations.
    7. GP - Consistent and makes plays. That moon ball in the end zone could have been a PI on the defense.
    8. Najee and Warren ran hard yesterday
    9. Defense was opportunistic yesterday and played hard for the whole game.
    10. Minkah may not be turning the ball over but he is forcing QB’s to hold onto the ball and he made alot of tac saving tackles yesterday.
    11. Boswell vs Tucker!!!
    12. MLB’s - in particular Queen and Wilson.

    Cons:
    1. TV Camera views were often late to the play or zoomed too far in causing us to miss the play at times. Would love to see what Russ is seeing when he is throwing the ball away or holding onto the ball.
    2. Ravens pass defense is a cause for concern in our rematch.
    3. Field Goals instead of Touchdowns.
    4. Red one offense.
    5. Secondary Receivers lack of production.
    6. Oline - although they played with fire there is still inconsistency and a need for better pass protection and run blocking.
    7. Washington - You need to go ip for that ball in the end zone.
    8. Red Zone Offense - It can’t always be GP. We need other guys to step up down there. Is it Execution, Scheme, Russ?
    9. Friermuth - Low production and getting blown up on blocks (second week in a row).
    10. Micheal Williams - Lack of involvement.

    Concerns going forward:
    1. Will we continue to be this aggressive on defense moving forward against lesser competition or non running QB’s?
    2. Will we have a let down and take our foot off the throttle and play down to the competition?
    3. What is our option from a receiving perspective if they shut down the perimeter and the moon ball? Is Russ comfortable throwing over the middle, can he see it efficiently?
    4. Is Williams a one trick pony or will he be an option underneath and on different routes other than go routes?
    5. Maintaining team health.
    6. Increasing production on Red Zone offense.
    7. Receivers getting open down field if GP is covered.
    8. Offensive line giving Russ enough time to throw the moon ball.
    9. Schedule and burnout.
    10. Taking the Bengals and Browns lightly.

Only possibility I can come up with is time...that was 3 years ago. Declining cutting and route running maybe?

The hype coming in doesn't help. He was labeled as "baby gronk."

    IMO GP's hands are better.

Yea it’s starting to be a Muth problem. He was always overhyped by homers because we love TEs after Heath and he’s from Penn St
