The steelers will be in the second seed if they beat the Browns on thursday even if the Bills beat the chiefs

The offense was brutal in the first half but much better in the second half. They move the ball much more in the second half.I hope they improve the red zone with more Justin Fields in this situation

What's even more sad is that people actually watch that hack.

It took him awhile to figure things out, but Queen has been a force to be reckoned with the last two weeks.

I agree. It is interesting Washington got 4 targets. The two catches over the middle were nice plays. Muth only two targets. If you add Washington and Muth 4 RCPT 56 yards.

Halicke reported TroyF has been spotted walking without a brace, but still only a possibility for the playoffs.

The comparisons to Bush were never viable. Queen has been out there for every snap this season. He is the defensive signal-caller. It did take him a little while to get up to full speed. I also wonder if it took Austin a while to figure out how to use him best. They seem to be allowing Queen to be more aggressive lately and that is working.

Remember that this is Steelers/Ravens. Lots of wacky shenanigans happen during these games; doubly so during the second half. Russell hasn't experienced a rivalry like this since the early San Fran/Seattle days.

I'd say this is a one off. If it happens again against Cleveland, I will have some concern then.

Its not the offense per se, its the pass protection. Its bad. Smith and company better figure something out cause teams now know this is our weakness.

Agreed with all of them for the most part. One notable omission; Corliss Waitman played his best game as a Steeler. Granted, the Punt Coverage team couldn't get all of his punts. That said, four punts for 226 yards; 56.5 yards a punt?!

I honestly cannot remember the last time a Steelers Punter had a statline like that. Special Teams today were truly special indeed. Cris Boswell was excellent.

One final thing; this is now the second time that Joey Porter Jr. has made an impact play, at home, against Baltimore. His Rookie Season in which he intercepted Lamar on a post route to Odell Beckham Jr and today in which he stopped Lamar Jackson on the two point conversion. Shoutout to Nick Herbig for initially blowing that up!! :steelflag::steelflag::steelflag:

It was the formations that kept Pickens and Williams from running deep on the outside today. I didn't understand it, but it seemed like very few formations had WRs split out wide to challenge the DBs. Having everyone inside might have had something to do with the pass rush, but it completely took away Russell Wilson's Moon-Ball.

BTW. Huge win today for the Steelers considering all 53 players on the Ravens were healthy. The Ravens entered the game with no injury's thanks in part to the long week after their Thursday game.

I never understood them honestly. Truth be told, I have been on record regarding the Queen signing that, like the young Offense, there will be growing pains. Queen went from being under the likes of Mike McDaniel, one of the brightest Defensive Minds in all of football, to Teryl Austin; a rock solid Defensive Coordinator. Philosophies will change no doubt from Coordinator to Coordinator; all the more reason people needed to be paitient with Queen for the style of Defense Austin runs is worlds different than what McDaniel does.

Long story short?! This isn't Madden.

Not just the fact that Baltimore had no injuries heading in. They also had some new pass rush sets and blitz combos that they haven't used all season long either. Talk about "throwing the kitchen sink"!

Wanted to add one more thing.

Zach Frazier... welcome to the rivalry of Steelers versus Ravens. I am sure he and Marlon Humphrey will be delighted to see each other again soon! :lolol:

This. Wilson had rushers in his face all day. The pass protection just isn’t good enough right now.

Today was a brilliant win against an excellent Ravens team

In the Red Zone, Smith needs to remember he has to huge targets in Muth and Washington. Those two create massive matchup issues down there and we aren't seeing them on the field. Late in the game today, Wilson found Washington a few times, exactly how a massive target like that is supposed to be used.

Love the win, but Muth getting 2 targets and 2 catches is crazy bad when we struggle in the red zone.

People always complain about Muth not getting enough targets, but he rarely gets open. When was the last time you've seen Muth wide open like Likely was on that one catch? That's right, never. Even the lumbering Washington gets better separation than Muth.
