Wilson is a starter in title only. Hasn’t played a snap yet, he’s owed nothing.

And yes, that was the point I was making, don’t rush him back. They may find they don’t need him at all and if they do, his calf will be completely better at least.

Thats a good point but if hes not healthy he’s not healthy. Will have to watch how he practices this week.

My expectations aren't for Kazee or Bishop to be the second coming of Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu. So yes Bishop can have growing pains between the 20's it's going to happen, however in the redzone I expect that you identify your man and stay with him unless you are handing him off to the next zone. Bishop's instincts were I need to watch the sideline in case someone runs, when it should have been cover your man. Hopefully moving forward he gets better. Mike Mitchell had this problem where he looked in the backfield trying to guess if it's a run so he could drop the hammer and more often he blew his assignment and would later try to cover those mistakes with a huge hit. Kazee does it too. Five horrible plays and puts his shoulder into someone to cover those plays.

They built their approach to this season around Wilson. Their willingness to hand him the job is why Pickett is gone. It would be very odd to do all that, then bench the guy before he has played a regular-season snap.

    correct

    and....

they know ALL his tendencies, his game in and out.

    I'd bet he sits again.

play small ball one more week, let the D suffocate,

open up more of the playbook for Fields, and STEAL another close one, on the road.

    19 - 16.

Yes but I’m not talking about sitting a healthy Wilson. I saying give him the time he needs for that calf to be 100%. Calf’s are tricky, McCaffrey is dealing with it too. Been a month now for both he and Wilson and it’s still not right.

This. It's freaking crazy talk. I have never ever ever heard any coach say......Hey if this guy is open....Hey don't throw it to Him. Hell on just the very first drive Muth is open in the middle of the field, and Fields takes off to the left, and throws to the flat.

Yep. You have to give a player the chance to fail before benching him.

So 4-12 against the leading rivals in Your Division, KC, and any playoff team is good.
How is it that Tomlins regular season is not good enough for You,,but Lamar Jackson is???
Also....Lamar Jackson didn't deserve the MVP last year. The same as Garrett didn't deserve the DPOY. Name Me one time in the History of the NFL that a Qb won the MVP when 5 Qbs had overall more yards(yes that's including his rushing), and more overall TDs(yes that's including his rushing tds) ????
Here is a little secret.....Lamar Jackson, and Russell Wilson had the exact same amount of overall tds last year......Yet one won a MVP, and one is considered done, and over the hill. LoL Of that doesn't show media bias.....I don't know what does.
    I repeat.......
Lamar Jackson, and Russell Wilson had the same amount of overall TDs.

Stop with the Qbs use their legs talk. In the History of the NFL....unless a Qb is in a wheelchair.......they all use their legs. There is a difference in using Your legs, and actually running it 100 times, or more a Year. I would show a list of all the NFL Qbs that have done this,,but I can't figure how, but I will say one thing. What is it they all have in common????
    LoL
