Highsmith has been known to disappear periodically. Roberts and Queen were pretty quite too. Good thing Payton Wilson stepped up, and TJ was a beast as usual

Since they don't have a WR2, Muth should be getting 6-8 receptions a game.

I thought on a few of Robinsons more successful runs it was due the continued degrading of Lebeau's classic 3-4 fire zone blitz scheme either by having sub packages that put 2 DL on the field or freeing up the DE's to be pass rushers. Cam was in the backfield several times which is great and all if he makes the play, unfortunately he didn't and all he did was open up a hole for someone else to fill. The stringing out runs east to west to allow the linebackers to flow to the ball just isn't there since Butler was in his lab trying to tweak Lebeau's system when he was finally elevated. This will be where someone will say having a true NT on the field is a waste and sub package gives more flexibility. But can you imagine Watt and Highsmith blitzing off the edge if the OL had to use four guys to block 3 dominant DL..

Agreed. They had success running at Heyward's side throughout the game.

The longer Sean Peyton coaches, the more he's exposed as the fraud he is.

We'll score when Bo Nix throws his first TD pass to Minkah or Elliot.

One other thing I did not like was Jaylen Warren only touching the ball twice. Maybe he isn't 100 percent, but I hope Patterson isn't going to be taking many touches from him.

This ain't 2000. We failed to put the ball in the endzone. Three field goals over 50 yards. This was not a good performance by the offense at all. Let's hope we can work some of that out against the Broncos. Defense played well at times. I'm not encouraged by this effort at all.

Saw a story today about the Bears getting happy news before kickoff. The terms of the conditional draft pick for Fields are if he plays over 51% of the snaps for the year that 6th becomes a 4th. So Russell better get his thigh muscle right.

The same injury of the same calf bothered Burrow most of a season.

I hear what you're saying about not being able to score touchdowns, or even get into the red zone. The offense has been stagnant for the last 3 years now, and things seem to be starting in that same direction yet again, but at least it wasn't the usual multipole 3 and outs. So I'll take that as a mild improvement over the last couple of years. But like I've already said, the defense and Boz won the game for them. I thought Tomlin did his usual boneheaded job at clock management, and play calling, but they were still able to win despite of him

If Denver's 2024 Season goes off the rails, his legacy will be even more ruined.

He caught a pass, which puts him on pace to catch 17 this season. I see no reason to believe he will have many more than that. I don't know why people were expecting big receiving numbers from him.

I already covered this. They spent a 1st round on Williams, and a nice rookie contract.....They are looking to find a franchise Qb out of it....so they must do how they see fit to find out what they got. Why You are comparing a 4 year Qb to a 1st Year rookie I don't know??? We have already seen that they gave Russell the starting job, and Fields the backup roll. The play calling shows you this. They spent a 6th round pick on Fields, and they will call the game to win. As they should.....He is not a Rookie, We didn't invest anything into Him, and I guarantee when they seen the 1st snap fumbled, and a couple of passes thrown off course, and a few missed reads they were like....dial it back. Especially with His history.

    Your missing the point.

Coaches have to place players in the position to win games. Limiting their best abilities is the quickest way to destroy your players development. For that matter, see Bryce Young and what has happened to him. I only used Caleb Williams as an example to illustrate the fact that it is the Coaches Job to play to the strengths of their QB as opposed to the OCs playing to their playbook as they see it.
