Not necessarily absolving him. Just trying to understand what he was thinking.

We scored just 2 fewer points than the Bills, the #3 scoring offense, did against them. It is a week to week league and team performance can swing wildly, especially in divisional games. Passes over the middle are not dependent on the Bengals sucking, that is a deliberate plan that would not happen with Canada calling that game. The process was much improved.

Biggest thing I got out of the games is....I got some peace from the" I know for a fact Warren is the Better RB crowd, and people see what happens when a lot of the RB carries are changed up on who gets them, and when, and what happens when a team actually is planning on you running the ball.
Now maybe they will shut up about it, and realize if You are running two backs...one will always look better, and the more we run both....the harder it is for other teams to key, and get ready for both of them. So be happy how we are using them.
Especially.....since neither are the weaknesses of our offense.

Big difference since their starting Qb wasn't out when they played the Bills....so therfore their D wasn't out on the field all day.

They entered the game giving up an average of 22.6 points per game. The Steelers managed only 16.
