We've been told over the past two weeks when the D was bad that Tomlin ultimately is responsible. Is Tomlin also responsible for the D being so good against a top flight offense?

Anytime Tomlin loses to a team with a losing record, it's a "Tomlin game." Tomlin just beat a team with a better record, a team with the best record in the league. Was that also a "Tomlin game?"

If they really want to win in the playoffs, they should trade for a WR and CB.

Steichen and the Colts out coached the Steelers in their previous two meetings but not today.

It's interesting because I think the gap narrowed significantly since Thursday games started (outside of Turkey day).

I wonder if it's just that we needed a higher sample to find the true average. Or if the league started scheduling games to try to engineer that result.

Maybe one way to check that would would be if someone looked at the total win% of the home and away teams or something?

Regardless of what happens for other teams, we seem to really suck on the road on Thursdays. Seems like we often get division games on Thursday on the road as well. I think the Terrible Podcast looked at the AFCN as a whole and basically all the teams are **** on the road on Thursdays when playing in division.

Wilson was the player of the game as far as I'm concerned.

They won’t. In fact, losing the next 5 consecutive games isn’t far fetched.
The Colts beat themselves today by turning over the ball as much as they did.

Burrow was dumpster fire before getting hurt, no different than Jake Browning. He isn't coming back this year, not with Flacco playing the way he is.

The Steeler defense helped the Colts turn the ball over. It wasn't just dumb luck. It wasn't just dumb luck Wilson picked off Jones or that Wilson batted the ball in the air to be picked by Sawyer. The Steelers caused those.

    Bad news
Steelers offense wont outscore the Bengals in a shootout.
If we win have to keep it low scoring
    This secondary is still secondary
Front seven saved the day today

Yea,just saw there's a sports broadcasting act that prevents them from playing Friday nights after 6, and since this is the case, they outta scrap TNF altogether. Even if it's two high profile teams meeting up, it ends up being a bad game.

Hey man, anything is possible! They’ve also scored nearly as much as they’ve given up!

a bounce here or there and they win those games.

I agree with your assessment but I will say we need to add another WR if we are going to be a legitimate contender IMO.

He was probably getting doubled as he is the only real pass catching threat we have.

Am I reading this wrong or is he saying a .8% gap is significant??

I mean they are not completely dead yet especially if they beat us again but I agree that D is way too bad for them to win 10 games this year.
