    1. Turnovers made the difference in this one

    2. Not sure what's with the mental block on 3rd and long by the defense

    3. What we did today won't fly against a quality opponent

    4. Offensive play calling was horrible for most of the game

    5. We won in spite of the coaching

    6. Offense needs to spread opposing defenses out

    7. Refs missed quite a few holding penalties against the pats

    8. Derrick Harmon was worth the wait

    9. Overall, Cam Heyward played out of his mind

    10. The Wisconsin connection on the edges stepped up when necessary

    11. O-line looked overwhelmed much of the game

    12. Keanu Benton is a liability at nose

Warren fights for yards more than Najee did.

I`m just happy we got to the QB often, got sacks and turnovers. Some improvement on defense.

Not happy with the offense in this win. When you win the turnover battle in a big way, you should win big.

Agree particularly with 3-5. Were headed toward 9-8 with this play. We’re just not going to get anywhere with this coaching staff. They cant get the most out of the players they have.

In the end Tomlin won this one with his great use of timeouts and execution when it mattered on the last two possessions. Or should we say Tomlin willed us to the W!

I see nothing to indicate that this isn't a contender for another WC blowout loss. Seriously unimpressive performance.

Would you say at this point after three games?
Metcalf - short game weapon, bubbles and such
    Wilson, Frier - intermediate weapon
    Austin - deep weapon

How should this offense be layered in the passing attack?

    Austin is unreliable

Right now he is on pace for 500 yards which is about his expected value as a #3#4 guy

That should not be your deep guy

Could watch due to travel, but looking the stats, the defense made a made the NE QB look pretty good.

9 and 10 will be constants until Benton is replaced along with the Offensive Line finally gelling at the midway point; an optimistic assumption on my part. The former though is a very correctable piece; Daniel Ekuale being that piece. For that matter, given how often Yahya Black has been in the nose thus far, probably a good thing to keep him there for at least his Rookie Season; let the game come to him.

The defense improved over last week, but still has a long ways to go.

Run defense was better but still not great.

    Pass defense was horrid.

3rd and long is almost a gimmee for any offense. Our guys are playing so deep to prevent the big play that they give up the big play.

Offense was not good. If not for forced turnovers, this game was a Patriots game easily. We had 5 turnovers to 1 and they still had 7 more minutes on offense than we did.

Warren runs really hard, but 2.4 yards per carry is not good. I blame that more on the oline than him though. But it has to be better.

Rodgers was getting up off the ground far far too much. He needs to buy the Oline rolex watches or something. They have to protect him better.

Some questionable use of timeouts today. Not the first time.

This is not a team that will win a playoff game the way they are playing right now. They could get a winning season, but that is about it.

There is a page in the NFL referee handbook that has 'Holding TJ Watt is not a penalty' written in invisible ink or something.

I thought Watt also played well today. Without him and Cam today, we don't win. I’ll take the dub but it doesn’t change the fact that this was hard to watch.

We aren’t a good team so I’ll take the wins when they come. Maybe this team can improve while squeaking wins who knows.

I think that rule is in place for any superstar edge wearing black and gold..... it was so consistent with James Harrison that I thought it was part of the gameplan

Almost embarrassed to come away with the win. Poor on both sides of the ball for most of the game.

Third down defence was bad. Pats had open receivers everywhere. Defence did make big plays when needed but you can’t depend on that week to week and definitely not against better offences. I do think / hope the defence will play a bit better as the season goes on.

The offence is a real worry. They can’t protect Rodgers and can’t run the ball. Receivers outside of DK are very unconvincing and he will always have the CB1 on the other team. They need another playmaker, albeit I’d be more worried about the Oline

Was it 6 turnovers if you count the turnover on downs late in the game. This could of been a blow out for the pats. This defense hasn't been able to cover TE's in over a decade.
Benton looked very good as a rookie but by playing him as a nose they are mis-using him. At least Black is better suited to anchor the center of the line.
I was pleasantly pleased with Leal he made a few good hustle plays when subbing for Cam.
    Smith's offense is 8.6% better than Canada's .
Two catches for 32 yds from Metcalf is ridiculous.
I can't believe Rogers sometimes NE was loading the box with 8 and he didn t audible out of it and Warren gets stuffed for a 2 yd loss.
I'll take the win but this team has so many weaknesses they will not be able to hang with any of the better offenses.
