Hate "prevent" as well, but damn, 106 - 0 is rather difficult to mount a counter-point. Plus, I don't think it was a true prevent.

 

How would you like to be a Ravens fan with that horrible coaching last night? Then to have your MVP QB stay on the sidelines because "my side hurts". Pathetic. What a leader!

 

Was that Rodney Harrison after the game that dogged Lamar big time? Damn, he didn't hold back. Was surprised.

Yup, actual facts don't matter anymore. If it feels to you that Tomlin can't hold a lead, than dangnabit it must be true.

 

#2: When Tomlin called the last sec TO and then the lion's scored on the very next play was when the Defense colapse began.. This has happened throughout tomlins career

Washington essentially stopped and the defender ran straight into him.that should not have been a flag.

 

I'm good with AR taking timeouts. Dude is smart (football-wise, at least), knows what he sees and likes/dislikes about a pre-snap read. Better to take that timeout and do it right.

With MT, it's just lack of awareness of when to use a timeout. He's always been that way.

 

That was a terrible time to call the timeout.

 

If my wife shuts a TV off during the Steelers game for any reason, that would be grounds for divorce. Fortunately, my wife knows this, and she's a Chiefs fan

 

TBH don't think it matters. I'd have to read the letter of the rule, but if you make contact on a pick play, you get flagged for OPI, regardless if you initiated it or not.

 

That would be a funny conversation among the lawyers. “ I love her to death but I actually bleed Black and Gold”.

 

I had to listen to that game on the radio because it was blacked out in the Pittsburgh area. But yeah it took awhile to call it a TD.

 

Im sure they'll look at the tape and adjust this prevent crap. It almost lost us the game. Why get away from whats been working the whole game at that point?

 

Timeouts are taken for a reason and I don’t question why we take them. I question when we are on offense and dump a check down pass immediately after a TO. Saw it yesterday and have seen it before. Extra time and we can’t come up with something more creative?

I question timeouts all the time. Yesterday was one of the worst times to use it. 3rd and long up by 12 and the lions in hurry up mode. Tomlin calls a TO so that Detroit can draw up the perfect play and it worked. I saw them making the first down easily and a TD wasn’t out of the question either. Dumb.

 

I'd chalk it up to the injury. Declining skill?! I wouldn't go that far yet. That said, Cal Admonitis should see action sooner rather than later.

 

You are a braver man than me. I never want to change long snappers until their skill drops off a cliff or they choose to go. One position that I value consistency over all is in the game.

 

That's what I've been saying to people too. They made the right call, they just explained it in about the worst possible way.
