My bad. I was thinking of Warren's low average per carry against a terrible run defense. Gainwell did have a big game, though most of that was the 55-yard run on a trick play.

    yes

stalled drives inside the 10, line up BOZ

Typical TOMLIN ball, turtle, to keep the opponent in the game.

I also watched the other 12 games.

our offense remains in the bottom 6 or 7 in the league. come on man, WAKE UP!

do you watch other games and other teams?

I will complain until I see a complete game from offense, defense and special teams. I want 51 points.... 10 points max from the opponent. Total defensive domination where the opponent only gains 20 yards total on the ground.... and 100 yards through the air. I want the 2nd coming of the Greatest Show on Turf on offense that can run, throw, score TDs and NEVER have to kick a field goal. Then... I will be satisfied.

In the words of Conan.... Crush your Enemies. Steelers used to do that.

A change of pace reflection on Steelers vs Ravens over the years. Similar to Sundays' measly rushing offense vs a porous rushing defense, my memory of this rivalry was that the Ravens always dominated the running game both on offense and defense and regardless whether it was the Bus, Fast Willie or Bell. A look at the stats though from their inception in 1996 doesn't match my collective memory. It's not as lopsided as I recall. While the Ravens have the edge in rushing by only 1,113 yds (183 last Sunday!) over 19 years to date (including playoffs), that's only a differential of 17 yds a game (64 games total). Meanwhile Steelers out-gained the Ravens in passing 13,529 yds to 11,890 yds with a differential of 1,639 yds or 26 yds per game avg. Total yds overall slightly favors the Steelers with 19,819 yds to 19,338 yds or 7.5 yds per game played. In spite of this closeness in yardage, the Steelers lead the 64 game series 37 games to 27 including 3 and 2 in playoffs. What does this all mean? Nothing, Just that the yardage is so very very close over this wild span of time AND......my memory sucks. :lolol:

This is just since the ravens have Lamar, they have very often over 200 rushing yards against us and also against several teams. Before that, the ravens were not that great running the ball outside of a few years of Jamal Lewis or Ray Rice and the steelers were often strong against the run

I will take the wins over having the most rushing yards any day, the Steelers have won 9 of 11 against the Ravens in the regular season since 2020.

Unfortunately the Ravens won the 2 biggest games against us during this period, last year in the regular season when the Steelers had a chance to clinch the division, and in the playoff game when it was ugly as hell.

I hope the AFC North will be secure for the Steelers before Week 18 this year..

My point was that the TD that was called not a TD should have cost us the game. Plus we had 8 yards on offense in the fourth quarter last weekend. I just don’t see a championship team when I watch them play. Do you?

Bend don't break mentality? Ravens were held to 3 FGs with 2 in the 4th Qtr last Sunday, so rushing stats can pile up without W's. Tough to watch though.

Would have brought the Ravens within one point with extra point or tie with successful 2 pt try.

Technically, Steelers still would have been in drivers seat with ball and remaining time.

The Ravens would have taken the lead if that touchdown had stood. That said, the Steelers also had opportunities that narrowly missed, such as the time Gainwell was wide open at the goal line, but Van Noy tipped the ball.

    No longer 2 steps
3 steps and a football move
So how is it a completion on the sideline with only 2 feet down?
Sports just like the rest of world has become so dumbed down that I don’t know what a catch is anymore
Please if someone sees Common Sense tell it we miss it.

They need to change the rule for the endzone. A secure catch and then 2 feet in bounds should be a TD. A football move is ok for a ball caught at midfield because the receiver would be trying to run for more yards. In the endzone the receiver doesn't need to gain more yards, a secure catch and 2 feet down should be a TD.

Getting more and more difficult to watch sports.
    Sports was my first love
    Fading very fast
    Don’t get me wrong
    Glad our Steelers won
It has happened to us before
I swear instant replay is a failure

I wish they would get rid of instant replay and just let the refs call it on the field like they used to. Sure they would miss some calls and some teams would be screwed but replay is doing that now anyway.

There was still time on the clock, the Steelers could have still won.

I see a team that is capable of beating the Dolphins and going to 8-6 which is all I'm concerned with now.
