My thoughts on preseason wk 3

Let's not forget that we cut James Harrison too..... twice in fact.... James went back and dedicated himself to training and transformed himself

 

Yes we did, but that just proves my point, and He was just off the top of My head. He. .. a Guy that became DPOY, and has ...IMO the greatest SB play in the history of the game....was cut from multiple teams.

 

So again... when did I say they need to?!


All I said was, again, as follows;


"Whatever ailment that Broderick Jones has will only get worse as the season goes on. Due to that fact, should he be out for the year, that is going to hit his development even more than it already is being done in."


Should and will are two entirely different terms. Not once did I say it was in the teams best interests; only pointing such an event to be a possibility.

Wow this is spooky. I was going to post the exact same thing.

 

I think the main point is that a player not catching on in one place is no reason in itself to think they won’t catch on elsewhere. Especially considering cap casualties and differing approaches from HCs in terms of promoting youth or sticking with established vets.

In any case - we really could do with picking up a T for depth.

 

And you don't think some other cuts that will be made this week will be due to their financial status?

 

I strictly meant not wanting players that physically couldn't make a team.... they're basically throwaways.... that is the only realm I was speaking about
