Yep, I actually have a couple of good friends who are Bengals fans and those 6 Lombardis normally shuts them up pretty quickly in any football discussion. One of those friends actually believes that Kenny Anderson could have done what Bradshaw did in the 70s if he had the Steel Curtain defense and Swann and Stallworth catching passes.:facepalm:

I was just watching the first half again on NFL plus and I really came away with mixed thoughts on Trubisky. He made some excellent throws down the field and he did a great job on the touchdown drive before the half. He also missed on some opportunities, most notably the attempt to Pickens near the goal line on third down after the interception by Sutton. He tried to fire it in, but put the ball on Pickens' back hip, where the defender was able to break it up. You can see why he threw it that way, too, with a safety coming up to try to make a play. That said, he had room to put it somewhere that only Pickens could get the ball for a touchdown. I can't help thinking that if they had Pickett in the same situation, it's a touchdown.

Agree. Even Pickett’s incompletions were on target throws and could have (should have) been hauled in.

Brady has been a starter in this league as long as some NFL players have been alive... he can take a bit of time and not need it. Younger guys have been in the league a lot less and could be fine with 2-1/2 quarters of preseason action.

As for the off topic part.... I agree. If we can just have the OL improve as a unit over the course of the year and find a way to stay healthy, then we will be a lot better than most people think.
