    1. We've got some serious nasty on the o-line

    2. Logan Lee and Ryan Watts are majorly athletic..... coach them up a bit and we may just have 2 major steals

    3. I think the coaches and f.o. are banking a lot on Cory Trice coming back and staying healthy

    4. Can it be....... Washington may actually be serious about turning things around

    5. Can't imagine what the 49ers are gonna do with all those wr's

    6. Shocked that Jerry Rice's boy lasted almost till the end of rd 7..... thought someone would grab him earlier just so dear old dad could give pointers to the whole wr room..... don't be surprised if little Rice makes a lot of noise

    7. Said it after day 1, and I'll reiterate it here..
Atlanta has no idea what they're doing

    8. Detroit is gonna be a problem

    9. The Browns had some big reaches, but hey.. ... browns gonna brown

    10. Let's get this season going!!!!!!

I agree, B&G, great write up.

I think they must like Trice and Rush as outside corners and maybe gunners too.

don’t know what they will do at slot corner. Maybe cam Sutton? Pat P?

I am high on Logan Lee. If he has the work ethic and willingness to learn... pack on 15 lbs and we might have a good rotational piece.

I read an article reporting the exact opposite. They are not counting on Trice at all and are simply hopeful for his recovery and see what he can amount to after that. I think there banking on Sutton coming back actually.

The team that broke my heart was Arizona. They drafted three or four DB’s. Not sure why you need that many. Two of them were projected to be slot. I had a man crush on Elijah Jones the CB from BC. Was really hoping to get him in the fourth but he went before our pick.

I was intrigued by Rices boy for us - big body receiver nut I don’t think he is that fast. Not sure what he brings to the table - maybe hearts and smarts and pedigree?

    Houston gonna be a problem

Not just the Browns but the Bengals too.

As much as I love Cory Trice, I would rather push my proverbial chips a bit more for Darius Rush given the fact that I can count on him health wise. Trice is back... but can he stay healthy?! If so, there is definitely something to work with there. Regarding Brenden Rice, I agree. I honestly thought he was going to go in the Fourth Round for he is a much better possession Receiver with YAC than others are giving him credit for.

Finally, Washington is a bit tricky. On one hand, Jayden Daniels does have all that he needs to succeed. On the other hand, all of this comes down to him. He is still very raw when it comes to the more finite details of passing mechanics; namely his footwork and follow throughs with both his hips and his arm.. an arm that isn't as strong as others make it out to be. That said, with athletic ability like his?!... guess him going out there and figuring it out while working with what he does best is the best course of action. At least Kliff Kingsbury is there; someone who does have experience working with QBs like Jayden.

I didn't realize some people think Watts might be a safety in the NFL.

I wonder where the Steelers will try him at?

Knowing the Steelers he will probably play everywhere...Jack of all Trades, Master of None...which I hate.

Looking at his highlights he is a very willing tackler for a corner. He likes to bring the boom.

I believe the 2 needs we didn't fill in the draft was legit #2 receiver (Roman Wilson seems more like a slot) and the other need is our slot CB...which is where Sutton would come into play. However, one would suspect that he is suspended a handful of games if he was allowed to play this year so it would be hard to rely on him out of the gate. Corey Trice Jr., if he is healthy, or Rush could man the outside CB spot with their size/frame for a press man defense and Trice was looking good last year before injury (better than Porter Jr from early reports last year during camp). We could possibly kick Donte Jackson into the slot corner, however that isn't a position he is known to have played as he typically plays on the outside. Ryan Watts is a physical freak and has that size and frame for press man but i think i read he was good in zone and may need some time working on his press man technique.

Im really wondering if Mike Sainristil was on the board at 51 when we picked, if we would have selected him over Fraizer and kicked that Center position down the road as its not a highly touted position as a CB is. Nick Saban stated that Sainristil was the best pound for pound football player in the draft. I wonder how fans would have reacted if we went that route since a large number was pounding the table for a center.

Watts couldn't cover college receivers, so there is little reason to think he can play cornerback in the NFL. He is likely to be a safety and special teamer. I think he's going to be more like Tre Norwood, but more of a hitter.
