My Rare Comments About The Defense

Everyone has stated the reason why the D plays the way it does. It's Dick Lebeau way.

When was the last time we had a pro bowl/or stand out corner? In our system you won't have one.

The mentality of the defense is too passive but I guess you can't complain since we've been to three super bowl in 10 years. sarcasm.

 

Unfortunately that's been a problem for while now. And it doesn't seem to be getting better.

 

Not sure, haha. And in reality the corners are playing the way DL tells them too. While yes...i'm sure there are times they may decide to move up or back on their own depending on whats going on...but still. And I think they've been doing it for too long to say that....they did it when the guys were young even.

I still think it was huge to let Lewis go...but hey he didnt fit into their cost structure...but what do I know, haha.
