He had a boot on his foot, he's out of it now but they're probably being cautious with it.

It probably won't be a permanent move for Edmunds, but maybe in the nickel and dime packages they will use him at ILB, anything to get Bush off of the field.

    Same here bud!! :drinks:

Still have my doubts but he has played much better overall than I thought he would. As I stated earlier in the rounds of Training Camp, him improving and Isaiah ascending will prove invaluable to the team moving forward for certain.

I'm not a Benny Snell fan. Yes he had a good catch and run and plays special teams well. As an RB he is just not all that exciting.

I do like Jaylen Warren as the #2 back. With all that said, the Oline needs to make holes

WR Sims had a jet sweep for 11 yards and Trubisky scrambled for 10. That was 21 of our 24 yards rushing. The rest of the team had 3 yards on 12 carries.

Just told my sons that very same thing today. Our OL performed better with him as coach than any other time over the last 10-12 years. I’d love to have him back in Pittsburgh. Our OL seems lost.

I also thought Edmunds had a pretty good game.

Sorry to the Haters out there. :)

    My thoughts about game 2.

Tomlin did as expected, he played guys that they want to see more of against #1's.
Of course, #1 on the list was Kenny Pickett.

Pickett did a decent job. I see it as a question of time before he replaces Mitch.
He has a keen eye and throws a really nice pass and he knows how to put touch on them.
I am concerned about the o-line, they are not connecting as a unit.
Lawrence is a good QB, but the defense gave up a little too much to him.
Pickett came down to earth, and that's probably good for him.

Mitch will be adequate, or so I think. I also believe him to be the best option.
Mitch is able to keep plays alive despite some poor blocking from the o-line.
Dan Moore is on my radar as probably the worst of the bunch.
There is a 5-player cutdown by Tuesday afternoon, Pittsburgh should be scouring the wire from here out, in the event a veteran gets released that could help out.
Or maybe they can get a trade for Mason.

At RB, there is a dropoff after Harris, but I think a balance can be struck with a change of pace guy and a little better blocking.

Overall, it wasn't great, and it wasn't bad.
Right now, my gut is saying this team can compete but don't think I see a Super Bowl this season.

Munchak wouldn't make that much difference with this group, he a lot more talent to work with back then, he didn't make the Broncos OL anything special.

Maybe I am wrong here, but it sure sounds like Ramon is talking about bad technique and bad coaching being a problem with the offensive line not knowing how to block properly.

Munch is making his full Bronco Salary sitting at home on his couch this year in Denver, so the Steelers would have to offer him something special.

And don't tell anyone this because they may try to run me out of town; but after watching the above episode of Ramon's show I went back and watched the starting defense to see Edmunds play and noticed #55 playing pretty good as well.

Well, they had like 3 or 4 OL coaches since Munchak left, the talent hasn't really been upgraded much.

He was definitely around the ball more, that I'll give you. Not sure I would say his play was "pretty good". Then again, you said Pickett was terrible so what do I know?

good point. my first thought was that Jax won't be the worst team in the NFL this year, replaced by Houston Texans, but I'll bet you're right. Seattle might be the worst.

and P Pressley Harvin iii off the books. The Bills are going to cut their veteran punter. I think I'd kick the tires.

We should have kept the other guy from last year (can’t remember his name). He was clearly better than Harvin.
